  1. Looking forward to it.
  2. Reading this thread I'm thinking about the bassmaster university I just attended. Gary Klein spent the first hour talking about how Bill Semental and himself have been spending lots of time fishing together. Klein said "I won't say he's tutoring me but, he is showing me a whole new way to make decisions. He talked how influential Bill has been yet he never said that he was teaching him to catch big bass. He said he was teaching him how to be more efficient and catch more bass.
  3. Well I just got home from day two of our bassmaster university. If you have never been to one do so. It's a very cool oportunity to see the pros you admire from a different perspective. This year our pros were Kevin VanDam, Jimmy Houston Davy Hite, Shaw Grigsby Gary Klein, and Mark Davis. Pretty cool. I went there to see KVD and Davy Hite and came home with a new favorite, Gary Klein. A great weekend that has my head swimming. I pitty the first fish that gets in front of me!
  4. RW Thanks for all your help here.
  5. Vyron your new avatar is.........................................what did you say?
  6. Mine is this weekend. I'm stoked!
  7. LBH has it right. However, I feel it's the bigger bass. I think on a particular peice of structure the bigger more dominate bass will be on the best part of that structure. So, if somebody I'm fishing with is consistantly catching bigger fish than me I feel he is reading the structure better than me.
  8. Let me tell you how I do it. I have the card. Everything I spend other than my morgage goes on it. One easy payment to pay off the creditcard each month. I always have a points to use.

  10. Don't be mistaken. That fish will eat more that you could imagine. Like I said earlier I have had 20+ years of bass in aquariums. As they grow it becomes a much bigger and more expensive job keeping one fed. Nothing like dumping a 100 feeder goldfish in the tank and having them all gone in a few days! Of course it is affected by the water temp. You can slow them down by cooling down the water. All that being said, it's fun to study them and watch them grow. Rolo If I'm in the mood to even be around a snake most bass I've had will tear'em up! Maybe the difference between one in an aquarium and one in a pond. Throw one in and get ready to wipe the walls down!
  11. I have had pet bass most of the past 20 years. When I was younger I loved to study them. I would learn about their habits and watch them grow. It is amazing to see everything they will eat. It's a job in it'self feeding one. When they finally get too big I release them and start over.
  12. Kelley welcome to the forums.
  13. Up until last week it was my lucky hat. I donated it to the bottom of the lake.
