  1. Was it ever required?
  2. I have one on the way as well. Ready for the testin'
  3. I use it from time to time. Most of the time I am using okeechobee craw or watermelon/red. Color to me is not a big thing.....I can survive on black/blue or watermelon. Keeps me from carrying too many colors.

  7. More than likely it's from a bad knot, nicks and abrasions, or old kinks from backlashes.
  8. Same here. They are a great search bait, go through cover well, can be fished a lot of different ways. There is a reason they've been around forever.
  9. As far as true fluoro goes I've been the most satisfied with InvizX or Triplefish.
  10. I have given up on any P-Line
  11. I must be blessed....I have never had any line wrap around my tip.
  12. You're one of those guys that likes to play chicken arn't you?
  13. That is the only one I have seen like that. I have run across some woodworking plans for a similar rack though.
  14. Right tool for the right job When you need super strong hooksets way out like on a frog. Braid is the way to go. I often times will even use it on top water if I am throwing from way back. Zero stretch allows me to feel my lure much better at a distance. There is no better line in my opinion for flippin' super heavy grass. I like to use it on traps in the early spring when I am ripping them through the tops of grass. One line won't do everything for me....I still use mono and fluoro but braid has it's place too.
  15. You got a good deal.....enjoy They are being reduced because St. Croix is redesigning the avid. They should be out this fall or 1st of the year.
  16. Go forth and fish......you're cured..(thump) ;D
  17. For me super clear water gets clear baits. Anytime I need to see my bait I'll use white....my eyes are not as good as they used to be
  18. Maybe your hook was fine and the real problem was that you caught a spot. ;D ;D dem' spots gots some bad attitude. ;D
  19. I didn't think the spinning avids had the hump. :-?
  20. Much to learn you still have my young padawan. Yoda. Funny that there is ;D ;D
  21. I got some way back before they came out and had problems with straightening the hooks out from hooksets. I haven't used them since. Besides, I break off too many times with a shakey head to throw that kind of money at it.
