  1. Definitely get them serviced by a pro. My only advice is to make sure you agree on the return shipping method to avoid any issues with costs. A lot of reel service outfits like to use the u.s. post office for return shipping but I don't like the limited tracking by the postal service, I prefer UPS or Fedex so I can track the exact location of the package.
  2. Not a big fan of the Steez SVF graphite rods anymore. Still great blanks but to me the quality control has gone down over the years or I've just been unlucky. The Steez SVF Compile-X, though more expensive, is what I come to expect out of the Steez line of rods even though one can argue that the difference in sensitivities between the two are at best marginal. But I concur, a steez, or any high end reel for that matter, strapped on custom rod on a NFC IM or HM blank built by a really good rod builder is pretty much almost as good as it gets for a high end tackle junkie in terms of feel. You should look into the "IS63 lariat" or "IS73 competition" being steez aficionado if you haven't already. You are correct chasiubao73 , the complieX series is the best of the steez rods. I only wish they made more choices in that model. The complieX spinning rod is one of my favorites.
  3. I recall your review of the NRX rods. Hopefully we can do a head-to-head comparison of the Steez vs the NRX at Kentucky Lake this spring. How 'bout Steez on Steez vs NRX/ Core 50MG; Steez/Core vs NRX/Steez? Should be interesting. Steez reel on an NRX rod, sounds sweet to me. Its awesome on a GLX so I expect something great !
  4. I have fished the Steez rods and reels before so I'm good. I'm just wondering what the security deposit is. Your Dog, I figure that's probably a guys most valuable possession.
  5. All you have to do is ask me nicely.
  6. Matt, that Stella is a VERY nice reel, I had one for a few months, sometimes I wish I would have kept it. I got tons of plastics and some new topwater and crankbaits.

  14. I'm holding out for the electric push button model so I don't have to crank it at all and don't forget the automatic bite sensor and hook setter.
  15. Not TROLLING, I just saw a lot of doubters in another thread and wanted to give an experienced opinion of expensive gear.
