Centrifugal brakes - setting only 1 pin?
Since all pins are still there, it won't be out of balance. Now, if you were to start removing them, it would cause a balance issue. Since you are only moving the out about 1/32", there won't be a balance issue. I only have 1 out on my 50E and one out on my Citica.

Thanks for all the replies! I really appreciate the help. There are just way too many choices and it gets confusing quick. I was wanting to try the micro guides and I like the Falcon rods. Thanks Again, Scott.

Rod selection
Looking for some help with rod selection. The rod will be used for small jigs and probably with weightless plastics. I'm looking at the Falcon Cara T7 Micro rod. They have one for jigs and another for weightless plastics. Which would be best? This will be paired with a Curado 50E. Thanks for your help, Scott.

spooling line
Why would you tighten the drag all the way? I have a Saros F 2500 and have some problems. I recently put Fireline Crystal braid on and will give that a try. Thanks, Scott.

Costa
I have a pair with the copper 580 lenses. I didn't want to spend that kind of money, but they are amazing. I got them to fish with but now I wear them anytime I'm outside. I can feel my eyes relax when I put them on. In the end, money well spent. EDIT: Find a place that has them and try them on. There's a bunch of different sizes and styles, one will fit.

What do you tell the "Hunter"
I release EVERYTHING that I catch. I'd hurl if I had to clean them. I don't have the stomach for it. Several years ago, we were putting in as some older men were loading up. We started with small talk when one of the stated "A few years ago, you could come here and catch 200 crappie a day, now you can't catch any". I asked him how long could a lake support that? I still don't think he ever got it.

Trolling motor recommendation
I'm about to get a 9' Pond Prowler and I need a trolling motor. What recommendations do you have? I don't want to break the bank, but I'd like a nice one. I think the digital ones would be nice with the longer run time. And what about thrust? How Much do I need? I don't need to ski behind it but, I don't want turtles passing me. Thanks, Scott.

P-Line Adaro pliers
What size braid have you cut with em? Is it just the larger sizes, or did you cut any ~20lb test? I really don't use heavy braid, but if they cut the small diameters there may be a new set of pliers in my future. Matt, I just cut the 50lbs but I don't see why it wouldn't the smaller stuff. It cut it super clean and did not fray one bit.

P-Line Adaro pliers
I got a pair of these and couldn't be more pleased with them. It is a fair price point and the quality is excellent. They also cut braid with ease. They come with a pouch that has a belt loop and a lanyard. If you're looking for pliers, check these out. Scott.

Abu Garcia parts
Brush, I just fish the banks of small farm ponds but I'd love to get a small boat. I think the crappie are still biting good. I haven't heard a report on bass. Fish, I need the 6 brake pads, 5.3 gears and the plastic retainer in the spool tension cap.Any suggestions? Thanks, Scott.

Abu Garcia parts
Where is the best place to get Abu Garcia parts? I've had an order with Cast Away Lakes for 3 weeks now and still no parts. They said they had all of it in stock also. I have a 4600 C4 that I need a few things for. Thanks, Scott.

How Does He Do It?
Yeah, that doesn't sound right. There are very few things in my box that I could really throw 70 yards, let alone to cast 70 yards.

Citica reel handle movement question???
My handle does the same thing. I chalk it up to manufacturing tolerances.

goodbye flouro,hello fireline
Like you, I had trouble with flouro and switched to Stren. It seems better but I've been wanting to try braid. What test did you go with? Can the fish see it better or does it really matter? Thanks, Scott.

The fishing gods hate me (UPDATE)
Yeah, I always close the bail by hand and make sure the line is tight before reeling.

The fishing gods hate me (UPDATE)
Thanks for the help. The guy at BPS put the line on and I asked about how to spool it. What he said made sense, so, I sure the line is spooled correctly. When I open the bail with the lure at rest, it doesn't try to unspool. I'd think with it spooled incorrectly, it would try to unspool by itself. When I cast out, I can see the memory in the line. Would it hurt if I tied my line to something and walked off half the spool and let it sit in the sun for a while??? Thanks y'all.
