  1. I actually finally had a good day this year
  2. Weird, I didn't even know that was a thing. My apologies Hayden. ?
  3. You know you can pick any guy any week, right? You can pick the same guys every week if you want.
  4. Texas Tackle is the only way to go
  5. The spinning rod is much "softer" or less powerful than the casting rod. Spinning rods are built on lighter blanks than the corresponding power casting rod as they're used for lighter weights and finesse applications. So they are going to feel different. If they are built with the same blank material and guides, they should be pretty comparable sensitivity wise for a proportional weight, which was the original question.
  6. Dang, you dug deep for this one. The key words in my statement are "all things being equal." An 1/8oz t-rig on a med power isn't equal to an 1/8oz t-rig on a mh power, plus they are 2 completely different rods. The Tatula having a better blank and better guides also negates the all things being equal part. My statement is more regarding 2 rods of the same make and model, a med power shouldn't be more or less sensitive than a H power, with appropriate lure weights for each power. In your example, an 1/8oz is too light for a mh or h power, which will negatively effect sensitivity. But you're comparing 2 completely different rods so all bets are off.

I'm at about 24 hours after and I feel like I'm running a fever. Some chills and a little achy but overall not bad, not bad enough to stay home from work. My arm hurts way worse this time for some reason though.
  8. I'm having a TERRIBLE year so far, I need a good finish here.

I have Pfizer shot 2 tomorrow, I'm hoping I don't feel too bad but I can take thursday off if I need to.
  10. I chose poorly 46th 66th 93rd 95th 7th 685 points after day 1 ?‍♂️
  11. I've carried a stainless Spyderco Dragonfly for the last 10 years or so. It's a smaller knife so it doesn't take up much pocket space but large enough that it's still useful for everyday tasks. It holds an edge well, opens and closes easily with one hand and is very well constructed with a great pocket clip. I have a ton of other knives and a bunch of Spyderco's but this is the one I like the best as an everyday carry knife.
  12. I've bought a lot of stuff from Ichiban, Japan Tackle and Japan Lure Shop. I also like Digitaka for rods and reels.
  13. This has been going on in the shoe industry for years. Most online stores have tried to put in safeguards to work around it but the bots still get through. It's incredibly frustrating to not be able to get something and then see someone post 40 or 50 pair on instagram that are going straight to resell.

Guess he had to try out his new gun somehow. ?‍♂️? 1911's are awesome. I currently have a Kimber Stainless II .45 and a Springfield EMP in 9mm. There are a lot of mixed reviews on Kimber's, some people love them and some have had bad experiences with them. Mine has been great, the finish has held up well and it isn't picky about ammo. Read reviews on Kimber's before you buy one though. I've heard nothing but good things about RIA's for the money.
  15. Awesome, look forward to this every year! Thanks for organizing again @fishballer06

Nothing at all wrong with a shotgun for home defense provided you have practiced with it (same for any home defense weapon) and can maneuver it around inside your house. Shoot it at distances that you will experience inside your house and know what the spread actually looks like inside 10 yds, it will be small. Make sure you can rack the slide under intense stress and make sure you get one that is purpose built with a shorter barrel and a higher capacity than a hunting gun. Practice, practice, practice.
  17. That makes sense. I know he seemed pretty burnt out and talked about retiring a year or so ago. I could totally see him going the Bill Dance/Jimmy Houston/Roland Martin route.
  18. Jason Christie has officially announced that he's going back to the Elites too. He qualified through the Opens this year.
  19. I've taken several TX CHL classes, my initial class and 2 or 3 renewal classes and they always let us keep our targets if you wanted to. So it must have been that instructor's rule, not a state thing.

The LC9 is a good gun, my dad carries one every day. That said, it's a good concealed carry gun but wouldn't be my first choice for much else. It's small, (can be difficult to shoot well) and has a limited magazine capacity. What do you intend to do with it? If it's a home defense/nightstand type weapon I would opt for something bigger with a double stack magazine and rail for a light. If you're planning to carry it often then it's a decent choice.
  21. I saw this guy running through an apartment complex in the middle of the afternoon in the middle of the city. They are everywhere you just don't see them very often.
  22. Iaconelli isn't fishing the BPT next year either so he might be back to the Elites. He will have an AOY exemption if he wants it.
  23. My favorite is probably Louisiana Hot Sauce, decent heat and good flavor. I also like Cholula, Sriracha and Tapatio. While not really a traditional hot sauce, some of the Blue Top flavors are pretty good too.
