It reminds me of the one that is always sitting on my retaining wall wagging its tail. I’ve got 3 barking dogs and he/she knows they are stuck in the fence and just taunts them haha

I actually did see a bobcat once about 5 years ago in my deer stand in November.  They make almost no noise.  They prefer to jump from fallen tree to fallen tree rather than walk or move directly on the ground.  And boy could that thing jump.  It got about 25 feet from the base of my stand (I was 20 feet up), sat down, and then looked up right at me for about 5 whole seconds.  Then it just kept going as if I wasn't even there.  Had a really nice pelt too.  It was a neat and rare experience.

I was tagging along with my cousin when I was a youngster on a deer hunt. We saw a bobcat and it disappeared pretty quick but we followed its tracks in the snow for quite some time. As you said, it went from log to log all the way through the woods

I had one show up under my ladder stand one morning right at sunup. He made some unmistakably catty growly noises looking up at me. Im not sure if I was sleeping in his spot or he didnt know what to make of my cover scent, but he just seemed annoyed.

I saw this guy running through an apartment complex in the middle of the afternoon in the middle of the city. They are everywhere you just don't see them very often.

Looks like a coon cat. This is ours. Weighs in at 25lbs which is 3x the size of the average housecat.

 

Speaking of bobcats...

I watched a pair of them hunt a riverbank while I was fishing a while back.

I had no idea they ever paired up like that.
