Whats The Favored Caliber/Cartridge For Deer?
I bet more deer have been killed with a lever action 30-30 than just about anything else. At least here in TX, killed my first deer with one. Shot placement is key.

Whats The Favored Caliber/Cartridge For Deer?
I've primarily used a 7mm-08 for the last 10 years or so and love it. I do have an AR in .308 (not an AR-10) and will probably hunt with it some this year. You can't go wrong with either round though.

- If you don't know
People don't seem to realize that other people will respect them more if they're just honest. It's ok not to know everything about everything, it's not ok to lie and say you do. A little humility goes a long way. I would much rather hear, "I'm not sure but I will find out for you" than have someone just guess and tell me what they think I want to hear.- Cleaned reel now wont work
Does your spool turn when you crank the handle and is your drag tightened?- Post a photo a day!
- Southern bro’s, do you use fluro leader when wormin?
Straight fluoro unless I'm pitching/punching into thick vegetation, then I will use straight braid. I'm not a fan of leaders or braid for worm fishing.- Fantasy Fishing 2020 - Official Thread

Clark Wendlandt Brandon Lester John Cox Bryan Schmitt Lee Livesay- Lucky Craft Lures Not As Popular Anymore???
They are my go to brand of hardbaits also. I own and use more Lucky Craft than anything else.- Adding Hooks/Split Rings to Zara Spook?
You could always add a second split ring, this would allow the hooks to hang a little lower and give them full range of motion.- square bill
Square bills are sort of the 4 wheel drive of crankbaits. As has already been said, they come through cover well and are meant to be banged off of cover/structure or the bottom, generally 5' and under depth. I usually fish them faster than you might think ideal with an erratic stop and go retrieve and if I can't consistently crash my bait into something I will choose a different bait altogether.- How many carry while out fishing in the boat.
What a sad story. I'm not buying it though, I was assured by people in this thread that things like this "never happen."- How many carry while out fishing in the boat.
Yep, that's why many of us choose to carry.- Post a photo a day!
I wondered that too. I was in the area for about an hour but never saw any people around so I'm not sure what they were trying to do.- Post a photo a day!
- Favorite sub genre of METAL
I love playing this video for people just to watch their reactions. "Oh this is really nice, what a beautiful voice....OH MY GOD IS THAT REAL!?!" After the shock factor wears off Tatiana is a very talented vocalist and they are a really good band.- Weird music
I don't listen to metal as much as I used to but I love Tool and their first 3 albums are among my favorites of any genre. I don't think they're weird in a bad way but they are definitely unique and different. I'm not a big fan but I would put Radiohead in the weird category as well.- Weird music
System of a Down is an amazing band, I might even add Tool to that list. Very unique and different.- Jumping ship?
Christie has been adamant about wanting to get back to the Classic. That said, I do believe we will see several guys try to get back to the Elites when they get a chance, no idea about Christie or Hackney in particular though.- Second Build
That is the other thing I use the rubber bands for. They are great for keeping hooks together on baits and take up way less room than those plastic hook bonnets.- Second Build
As you get closer to the tip you have to double wrap an 1/8" band, essentially making one band wrap around the blank twice to make it tighter, if that makes sense.- Second Build
I've always used dental rubber bands to hold micro guides. I buy them in 1/4" and 1/8" and just cut them off once I have the guide secured. You can buy them by the 100 on ebay for a few dollars.- A Slap in the Face
This...Talk to the HOA about your concerns and see about putting out some "Catch and Release Only" and "Residents Only" signs. Work with them to establish some rules. It might not even be legally binding but might discourage some people from keeping fish. Other than that, if they are doing things legally there's not much you can do. - If you don't know
