  1. Big difference though, Bradford was a #1 pick and in his 5th season in the NFL. Dak is a rookie 4th round pick and the 8th qb taken in the draft. Bradford is supposed to be good in the preseason, Prescott, not so much. All that said, it's nice that he isn't shell shocked in the preseason but that doesn't mean much. I just hope we don't have to see him in a real game for a couple of seasons.
  2. I feel like I always go into it with an idea of what I want to do but it usually goes out the window once the draft starts. I had Johnson and Charles on my radar too but you snatched them up before I could. lol
  3. Thanks. That's kind of how I felt after looking at my roster. If a few guys do what they are capable of and stay healthy, I could have a good team. I guess everyone can say that though.
  4. The Citica E is a fantastic reel. Do you want them for resale or to use? You might get $90 if you try to sell them, probably not much more.
  5. I don't know how well I did but it will be fun finding out.
  6. I'm cool with a 6 person, uncapped bench. I definitely want to keep the bench short but it probably does make sense to not put any limits on the 6. The waiver wire will still be plenty active but nobody will be forced to potentially cut a top end starter due to bye weeks or injuries. Makes sense to me.
  7. Set your draft board beforehand, just in case.
  8. I vote for option B with 5 max WR's. I'm good either way though.
  9. I agree with you about the autofill, I hate it. It's impossible to see how well you're really doing against other people who are actually playing. It's made me not even care that much about playing.
  10. There has to be one more guy who wants to give me their money, c'mon guys.
  11. Unless you fish with leaders or fish in the winter I would personally go with the Avid X over the regular Avid. The difference in guides will make it a much more responsive rod. Being from WI, the guides will ice up faster with the X, so that might be a deal breaker for you.
  12. I throw Senko's on a casting set up with 12-20 lb fluoro, depending on the situation.
  13. They are both awful.
  14. I've seen guys add an additional split ring to walking baits and spoons. This extends the hook a little and allows them to swing more freely. It also makes it harder for fish to get leverage to throw a hook. I've not tried this myself but it could be something to tinker with. Also, I like EWG trebles on my crankbaits but prefer round bend trebles on topwaters and jerkbaits. I feel like the round bends hook fish that swipe at the bait better than EWG's. Don't know if it actually makes much difference but I have confidence doing it this way.
  15. You definitely need at least one. I can't think of another topwater bait that even comes close to the Pompadour. I'm really surprised you've caught any fish this summer without one. That's the answer you really wanted to read, right?
  16. You got me to wondering so I found the official rules for the Elite Series. It looks like they always use the largest bag from the previous days of competition to break ties. I'm sure they had some kind of official rules in place before this competition began, as to not play favorites. C21. TIES: In case of a tie for first place weight at the end of the tournament, there will be a fish-off between the tied competitors under the direction and special rules established by tournament officials. Ties for standard cuts and places below first at the end of the tournament will be resolved in the following order: (1) individual with heaviest single day catch during competition; (2) if the tie is not broken, the next tiebreaker will be the individual with the second heaviest single day catch during competition; (3) if the tie is not broken, the next tiebreaker will be the individual with the largest number of legal fish weighed during competition; (4) if the tie is not broken, the next tiebreaker will be the individual with the largest number of legal live fish weighed during competition. If the tie is not broken by applying the foregoing procedures, the tie will remain a tie. When ties for cut position are not broken by the foregoing procedures, competitors still tied will compete for the next cut. Additional places will not be awarded. Monetary prizes for each competitor will be awarded in equal amounts. Angler of the Year points will be awarded for the place of the tied position and each competitor will be awarded equal points. In B.A.S.S. Elite events where weights are zeroed, ties for cuts going into the final round shall be broken by Angler of the Year standings following most recent concluded Elite Series event. A tie for first at the end of the AOY Championship shall be broken by the above procedures and not result in a fish-off.
  17. The tie breaker was the heaviest 1 day bag from the previous round. KVD had 10-4 to Kreiger's 8-14.
  18. First off, I think the event itself is dumb. J-Proz will make the Classic easily, I have no problem with him trying to help his buddy make it. The Classic pays a big chunk of money to everyone in the field. Some of these guys desperately need that money. Winning this goofy event wouldn't mean nearly as much for JP as a Classic qualification would mean for Koby.
  19. The blade box and the deep diver box look awesome. I don't think I would go for the terminal box but for the super anal it's probably perfect.
  20. Very cool! If you guys don't get the BassBlaster, shoot @JayKumar your email address, well worth it. I don't know Jay and I'm not affiliated in any way. Just trying to pass on something cool. This thread is featured in today's addition.
  21. Says the guy who doesn't know his own email address.
  22. I agree with this line of thinking. If you're going to use a snap, you should take the split ring off.
  23. One issue with SKS' is they weren't meant to accept magazines. A lot of people have problems getting the new furniture to work correctly with aftermarket magazines. I know some allow for the original clip system to be used. You would probably want that kind since you don't want to add a high-cap magazine.
  24. If it's for flipping and pitching it doesn't need to hold much line. You can use 20 lb fluoro with no problems at all.
