The weather is nuts
Last night, half of TX was under a tornado warning and the other half was under a blizzard warning.

- How do I use a jerk bait???

Split ring or direct tie?
In general, if the bait comes with a split ring, that's the way the manufacturer intended for them to be fished. I would tie to the split ring or take the split ring off and use a snap, if you're a snap guy.

Received Revo S as gift -- but am I taking a step backwards? Advice please!
Keep the Revo and also get a Tatula R, they go for about $130 on Ebay. Decide for yourself which one you prefer.

Cool! This is my first one. I read an article about how they were made and figured I'd better get a couple.

- New curado model!!!
You're right, I'm seeing $199. http://www.*.com/Shimano-Curado-70-Reels-p/shimano-cu70.htm- New curado model!!!
It's nice to see them listen to their customers, can't wait to get my hands on one.- Bourbon (And All Things Whiskey. Or Whisky, If You Like Scotch)
Oh ok, that might be considered Canadian Whiskey. You just said "made in Oregon," that's the only reason I said anything. It really isn't important anyway.- Bourbon (And All Things Whiskey. Or Whisky, If You Like Scotch)
I don't think it's Canadian whiskey if it's made in Oregon. Not knocking your recommendation, I'm sure it's good.- Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
Check out these new shallow cranks from 6th Sense. From what I can tell, they aren't available in stores yet.- Prop Bait Sinkis
I haven't fished the bait so I'm not sure from personal experience. I was always under the impression that it was a sinking bait, that's why I never bought any. Many online vendors have it listed as sinking also. Hopefully someone who has actually fished the bait will chime in. Edit: I found a picture of a bait in the package, it says "slow sinking."- Prop Bait Sinkis
- Please help problem casting Daiwa Zillion!
The next time I see someone cast a baitcaster with no brakes and light spool tension will be the first time.- Curado vs. BB1
- Ouch
He is probably a tattooer or piercer, I don't think anyone else in the country would hire him....for the rest of his life.- Ouch
This is an interesting look.- Please help problem casting Daiwa Zillion!
That lead weight is infinitely more aerodynamic than that crankbait so it will cast much more easily. Try the crankbait on your other reels with the same rod, in the same wind conditions. That should tell you if it is the reel or something else.- Bassresource Fantasy Football Sign Up!-Registration Closed!
I loved playing with the shorter bench this year. It kept things so much more interesting because no one could stash players. It's probably also why the league was so competitive. You can count me in for next year!- 1St Build
Looks great! You will feel like a seasoned pro when you start on your second one. - New curado model!!!
