If you are going to be representing your school and will have the school name/mascot on the jerseys, you might want to get someone at the school to approve your design. It would suck to have jerseys made and not be able to wear them.

If you go with a split grip rod it would be easy to add a new cork or eva butt grip to your rod. You could even stick some lead weights in the butt of the blank to balance if it is very tip heavy. I'm not a fan of adding weight but that's your call. As far as cutting a blank, I've done it both ways and I don't really think it matters. I would wrap the blank in masking tape and draw a straight line around the tape at the cut location. Cut it with your hacksaw.

I will agree with you here. Hunting does get way more airtime than fishing on Outdoor and Sportsman. That's why WFN is so great.

Heavy is a power, not an action. I use H's for c-rigs, heavier jigs, pitching/flipping/punching heavy cover, frogs in heavy cover, larger hollow belly swimbaits, etc. Don't get too hung up on power labels though, most brands fish differently and the rods action comes in to play also.

With a DVR there is no reason to ever miss anything you want to watch.

There seems to be a theme here. Lucky Craft Pointer 78 and 100 Lucky Craft Slender Pointer 97 and 112 I own tons of other brands but these are the 2 I have confidence in.

I was under the impression that it was poorly made molds, in part, that made the originals hunt. I was also under the impression that those molds were destroyed.

The Terez is a good rod but it might it might be too much for bass fishing. You would need to research the model number.

Tying on feathers is harder than you think if you haven't done it before and don't have a vice. Mustad, Owner and Gamakatsu all make trebles that are pre-tied. They come 2 to a pack and are usually around $5.

You can buy dressed trebles for a few bucks. If you're losing hair, it might be time for new hooks anyway.
