  1. I'm hoping I can get my hands on a Daiwa SV 103 around Christmas.
  2. Dear Mr. Robertson: Thank you for contacting me with your suggestions regarding Daylight Savings Time. I recognize the time and effort that you are dedicating to actively participate in the democratic process, and I appreciate that you and other concerned citizens have provided me the benefit of your comments on this matter. As you may know, the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (P.L. 109—58) contained an energy conservation provision which changed the duration of Daylight Savings in the spring from the first Sunday in April to the second Sunday in March, and in the fall from the last Sunday in October to the first Sunday in November. Proponents of the measure pointed to the early 1970s, when the last notable change to Daylight Savings Time occurred. As a result of that shift, the United States realized sizable energy savings—the approximate equivalent of 100,000 barrels of oil a day. P.L. 109-58 was passed in an effort to achieve similar energy savings. I appreciate having the opportunity to represent Texas in the United States Senate, and you may be certain that I will keep your views in mind should relevant legislation be considered during the 113th Congress. Thank you for taking the time to contact me. Sincerely, JOHN CORNYN United States Senator
  3. I would get the Curado 100 times out of 100, of those you listed. Do not spend $500 on a Revo!!
  4. I talk to myself like a crazy person.
  5. I don't know what it is but it looks old.

The main problem I see with snap swivels is the people generally using them are beginners and they use the super cheap brass ones with the terrible snaps. Those aren't fit to use for panfish in my opinion. They use them so they don't have to retie often, as they aren't super comfortable with knots. They also use them with everything they fish, mainly because they are inexperienced and don't know any better. If you are a knowledgeable fisherman using a quality snap swivel and making an informed decision, there is no problem with it.
  7. So what you're saying is I should buy the item with the lower price? Interesting concept.
  8. Nice fish! Lol, It's hard to take a selfie with a 6 lber, good problem to have.
  9. You're not screwing/unscrewing the eye, just bending it slightly to one side or the other.
  10. Thanks for the initial review. Definitely let us know how it fishes.
  11. Some others to check out are the Spro McStick, the Jackall Squad Minnow and some of the Duo jerkbaits.
  12. If you look at the other models, the medium is a 5 and the heavy is a 7. Most other rod companies don't use those numbers to represent those powers but that is still what it means.
  13. Mine has seen pretty much all braid and the guides have held up fine. The only negative I have about the rod is the crappy squishy eva grips.
  14. Because rod model numbers usually always include the length and power. The first 2 numbers are length, sometimes in inches, sometimes in feet, depends on brand. The last number is the power. The problem is, those power numbers really only compare to other rods from that manufacturer.
  15. I have that same rod. I actually pulled mine out this summer and threw frogs with it. It is a good rod, super light and it didn't break. Mine is an original also, I've had it for many years.
  16. Awesome set up Joe!
  17. I thought they looked good too, better than any of the other AG rods. If I were buying an Abu rod, that would be the line I would choose from. The 6 is definitely the power number and probably compares to other Abu rods. I don't have any experience with them though.
  18. Not a very good review, if I remember correctly.
  19. Ike uses, or has used in the past, Fenwick rods for cranking. Fenwick is under the Pure Fishing umbrella. Now that he has his own rods, he might not use them anymore.
  20. This is my 3rd tie this season. I lost the first one the next day, after stat corrections. Hopefully it won't get me again.
  21. I've also seen guys hang a bell sinker on the front split ring with the hook.
  22. We ended this week in a tie. I think I get the tie breaker since I have more bench points than you. Lol, I was playing my defense tonight and they made an interception to the end the game, giving me 2 points to tie us up.
  23. Holy Crap! That last second interception ties us up! I have 1 bench point to your 0!
  24. Welp, iabass and I are tied with about a 8 minutes to go. I need a defensive score in a bad way.
