Great point George, the world record largemouth bass was caught on a crankbait. Shiners are still the best tropy livebait. Some lunkers dont even like bluegill.

pickerel are fun fish to catch, by biggest was 4 lb 2oz. I believe they are lone wolves but they do swim in a school around fall season.

biggest difference is that a shiner will bring out a tropy bass from the bottom. I never used mice but who would? stick to worms,minnows,leeches,shad,and shiners

roadwarrior, target sells all its sale items on the day of black friday. Most targets are not the same unless you have a super target in your area. The big problem with target is its management,poor leadership that might be the reason why most people quit target. Most items on the online target store are not in a regular target but super target or the online store. much like walmart and superwalmart.
