Tried this with my rear livewell to add a sprayer to cool off the dogs on hot days. There are no fittings available at Tru Value, Ace, Home Depot or Lowe's that will thread on the fitting in the livewell.

I'm going to offer a suggestion that typically isn't too popular. Don't go too spendy on your first couple builds. There is a learning curve and you will screw something up. Practice by rewrapping a couple junkers and build a couple cheapies to get your procedure figured out, then build your good rod.

Happens to me on Erie all the time. Even with same color of a different batch or lot. They want what they want. Then there are days that I just use whatever old used bait is laying on the floor or dash and they eat it all, regardless of brand, shape or color!

St croix and Rainshadow are my top 2. Rodgeeks when color is important.

I've built a couple. Shook and bent many many. Are they nice? Yes. Worth the price? Not even close. There are better blanks for less money out there.
