someone on here told me that you could polish the bezel that the brakes ride on.

noise on energy e760pt cast control
does anyone know how to stop the whisky noise on the acs cast control. seems like the weights are rubbing against the beveled ring. is this normal.

Shimano Curado vs Revo premier.
I dont have the premier but I have the 2k10 sx and I love it except for the short handle on it. I don't think it will pitch as well as the curado though. If the premier has the short handle like the I don't think I would like it. I have ordered the longer handle off of the winch to solve the problem. I think that both of them have their strengths and weaknesses though.

curado 200 e7 problem
I had the same issue with the gear noise as well. my solution was to break the reel down and do a thorough cleansing and de-greasing then use shimano ace star drag grease liberally enough to cover all the teeth on the drive gear then reassemble. this so far has solved the problem for me

Rod action for Spinnerbaits.
I guess I'm a little confused about how the XF tip is softer than the Fast tip. I'm my experience it should be just the opposite. Much less of the rod is going to flex on a XF tip! I feel you here but it is indeed the other way than we are thinking. i get it now though

2010 revo sx-hs
just got my new 2010 revo sx in the mail today in 7.1. I'm amazed at how smooth it is. and yes I'm a shimano man. this thing is neck and neck in casting ability with a curado and maybe a tad smoother. I have only one concern though. this reel has a really short handle I noticed and on the retrieve it seems a lot more labored than the 7.1 curado. is this because of the shorter handle. has anyone noticed this. I think I'm gonna move this reel to my worm and jig rod and move the curado to the trap rod. Anyone have any experience pitching with this reel

Boyd Duckett Rods
just like because the bottom of my boat is white the bass can't see it either. I don't understand...and like a fish can discern what is rod and what is boat. gimmick if you ask me. they may be a great rod... never tried one. but I can tell you that because they are white doesn't make them any better.

round baitcasters
I have 14 y/o calcuttas that just will not quit on me. use the calcutta 200gtb for my frogs. I dunno it just gives me more confidence yanking through pads with 70 lb samurai on the calcutta than a curado or any other lowprofile.
