I'm considering renting a cabin on this lake, next summer, and wondered if anyone has experience fishing this lake. Any good?

I worked in China for some weeks. It's a hell hole. I was one of the first westerners back in after Tinnimum Square deal. I traveled through their miserable little villages going to the oil fields near Mongolia. They are the most rude and ill mannered people I have ever dealt with. They treat each other like animals. Consider the old guy who had a young girl for a wife (don't know how that came about) who kept running away. The last time he took her eyes out to stop her. Chaining a kid? That's small change over there.

I was on a woodworkers forum for a while when someone asked about accidents in their shops. That produced one long thread of bloody mangled flesh. A real horror show. I was almost reluctant to open this thread, thinking it might be more of the same. ;D

I have a 10' model. It does all they say it will. Mine's for sale since I bought a bass boat.

I would like to install LED deck light strips. The ones I would like to buy are adhesive backed strips. My problem is that the underside of my hatch covers and the area between the gunnel and deck are all carpeted. I can't be the first faced with this and wondered what other guys did.

With your good maintenance, how come you experienced 2 major failures?

Saw 2 episodes and, although the story line was ok, the acting was hokey. They put too many hammy lines in when not needed.

From my work in the woodworking world, it is common knowledge that there is no really effective UV protection in varnishes. So, I would think that the same would be true for waxes. I would expect wax to protect against fiberglass oxidation.

If you pull a bass off the nest, don't sunfish rush in and gobble up the eggs? Doesn't sound like a good move, but then I'm a little new to bass fishing.

Anybody have experience with this oil for 2 strokers? Or their other products?

I spoke to a Lowrance rep last week about leak problems. I had heard they fixed the problem and he confirmed it saying that the sealant was the problem. Either a poor selection or a defective batch. I'm steering away from Lowrance in favor of HB. I 'm also concerned about the cable connections on the HB being water tight. I'm not impressed with the photos that show something that looks like home computer connectors. Looks like I'll need to carry a rain hood with me.

I think Trackers are good boats. Last summer I bought a tin boat. It came down to a Tracker or G3. The G3 won out for better appointments, much more storage, a wider fore deck and unbelievable support by Yamaha. I had a fuel tank problem that peeled some paint from the side. They replaced the whole boat without any hesitation.

I don't see any pork chunks for sale. Where do you buy them?

My closest store is Cabelas. The bait monkey never lets up. LOL Oh yeah, the guys in the fish, fly fish, boat and wader depts are very nice and helpful. I don't miss any high priced, limited stock, Mom and Pop stores.
