the cruxis sucks in my opinion. It's too big for me. I bought mine in March and tried to get used to it, but like I said it felt really wide, and so I sold it. For $75 you can get a revo s or something similar. Just don't waste your time with this reel. As far as mechanics go, it is pretty smooth, but I just wasn't comfortable with it.

my favorite drop shot lure is the fish belly hawg shad sold at ***. It's very lifelike to me. That's what I use most of the time, and then I also use zoom flukes

just buy the curado 200E or the citica 200E. Those two reels will leave you with money to buy some fishing line and more.

in the soft bait category you can't beat huddleston. their trout lures catch fish. for hard baits I would go with the strike king sexy swimmer and sebile magic swimmer. Those two have produced good for me.

I would never ever substitute a chatterbait for a spinnerbait. In areas where I can't throw a spinnerbait or I want a soft, quiet presentation I throw swim jigs.

I love the spinnerbait. I can throw it anytime anywhere, no matter what. This year I got into the lumaflex spinnerbaits and have fished those exclusively.

dang that's one of the nicest rat swimbaits I've ever seen. Great work man.

They're some nice looking reels. I got a few and they perform better than any other reel in that price range. They also got that sexy swept handle. Anyways if you find a good deal on these they're worth the money.

I like that rick clunn twin tail trailer with the red tip. I also use a chartruese colored one as well.

you know the brake ring holder assembly and the brake ring holder spring. I don't know why but it's going in right however I can't turn the centrifugal control knob. In other words it turns but doesn't turn a little at a time. Instead it turns completely to the left or the right. I don't know what's wrong but those three parts are what's giving me trouble right now.

guys I need your advice. I took apart my bass pro nitro reel to clean it out thoroughly and greased the gears and oiled the bearings. Anyways I put the reel back together, but am having trouble with the left side plate. That's where the braking system is located. Anyways I took it apart and after I put it back together, it's not working properly. So could someone tell me how to fix this. Thanks

hey guys I recently purchased four spools of this p-line from someone on the internet. I got it for $20 which was a good deal in my mind. Anyways is this line any good? I got 3 spools of 6lb and 1 spool of 8lb

BUY IT! that's a classic reel. It's been selling for over $250 on ebay and some even sold for over $300. That's a great cranking reel and I think your lucky to even get your hands on one.

Now that I have been bass fishing for a while I can start fresh and spend only $100 to fill my tackle box. Here's my list: GYCB senko (watermelon, pumpkinseed, any variation of those two) Spinnerbaits (I use basscraft custom spinnerbaits because they offer lumaflex skirts which look awesome and catches bass) Jigs (I prefer swimming jigs and buy them in white, green pumpkin, and black/blue. Any variation of those three main colors) Trailers (Netbaits paca chunk, and Rick Clunn Twin Tail spinnerbait trailer, that's all I need) You can throw spinnerbaits and jigs year round. As for the senko it flat out catches fish no matter how you fish it. In the wintertime I can drop shot it or throw it weightless and catch fish. The rest of the time I throw spinnerbaits and swim jigs.

I use omega swim jigs and have caught a few bass on it. I use berkley powerbait grubs as a trailer

I like the swimming motion. It looks like a real snake. Man I gotta get my hands on one of those.
