  3. Simply put, shakey head , wacky, and drop shot, are finesse technics for pressured waters
  4. I just bought some Z-man straight worms, I know their difficult to rig on most shaky heads jigs but will float like no other. I'll let you know how well they work.
  5. Try fishing the smaller bodies of water, thats what I do early in the season.
  6. Question: What weight do you guys prefer? It seems to me that 9/16 oz. and up would work best for this technique.
  7. Are they they worth the price, the only reviews I can find is by the promoters.

I believe Mr. Twister made worms with air holes moded into the body.
  11. I only use beaver type baits in clear water, otherwise a skirted jigs in stained and dirty water.
  12. Cavitron 1/4 oz. buzz bait in black, or maybe a Moreau field mouse, come to think about it, I use a Yum houdini shad most of the time. Very hard to choose just one on top , like them all brother.
  13. Strike King use to make a short arm spinner bait with a plastic weed guard. Bill Dance made this bait famous on his fishing shows in the early 80's. The bait was designed to be jigged in bottom structure. His shows with Terry Bradshaw were my favorite.
  14. I've been using pad crashers resently, but have'nt fished them around vegetation yet.I've had great success throughing to; on the banks and hopping them off, they smash it as soon as it hits.I like the darker color patterns like brown and black.
  15. You may want to hold off , the designs are really taking off on the stability end of things. I'm also looking at purchasing a kayak, but the big boy's are greedy on their pricing, and I will not give in to it, I'll make one first. So I would keep looking, you want to make sure you are looking at a fishing kayak at least 10' long, the givaway will be rod holders cut in the rear sides. Also a sit on would be better than a sit in. For me the hole point of having a Kayak is access to small waters without a fuss.
  16. I just picked up a bag of Xfactor busy beavers on sale at gander. Any body use these , they sure look like a winner to me, what do you think.
  17. A Cavitron does not need either.
  18. There are other options you may want to consider, but more funding is required. An oldtown discovery sport 15 conoe, has a flat stern for an electric motor, add swivel seats. If I had a picture I'd post it, nice looking rig and can be carried on a 6' bed thruck.
  19. Buy the mann's hard nose toads , they will solve your problem.
  20. A cottoncandy color 3" Yum dinger, texas rig with no weight for numbers. spinning gear, 7' med. rod. 10 lb. fire line. I also like flick shake worms for finnesse fishing for numbers and biggon's. 1/4 oz. cavitron buzz. Also 3/16 oz. pond majic spinnerbait in white and gold, replace small willow with next size larger- early spring.
  21. My preference would depend on the clarity of water I'm fishing.
  22. Nice video brother, almost put me to sleep in a heavenly way. I wonder what decade this was filmed. Zenmaster, sounds familiar to me.
  23. How about the pro angler price tag? Alot of money for something that was made for hard to reach waters.
  24. I use the triple color Kalin grubs.
