    Welcome aboard, Mike!
  3. Awesome fishing. But dang, I've got a crick in my neck looking sideways at all them hawgz!
  4. Welcome aboard, Stephen!
  5. I would say yes, they are. BPS Stik-Os have a lot of salt in them, and if I'm correct, YUM didn't salt-impregnate the newer Dingers, hence they'd be lighter.
  6. Welcome aboard! Or, you could go to Lake Baccarrac in Mexico. Ask @A-Jay, @Dwight Hottle or @00 mod about their big bass adventures

  11. x2 on KVD Line and Lure conditioner. Or, go with braid for your mainline and tie on a leader. Kiss line management issues Good Bye!
  12. Almost anything would be good for a kiddo staring out. I would say if it is a good price, give it a try. I bought Daiwa Samurai for my kids at DSG, but we ended up selling them in a garage sale.
  13. Welcome, Todd!
  14. If you think he's ready to go for a spinning outfit, get one! Zebco makes some neat ones with cool color combos. http://shop.zebcobrands.com/zebco/combos/splash.html
  15. Scales sure are nice to have hanging around Congrats on the nice bass!
  16. Mr. Velvick on the right, I believe
  17. I have no answer for this. While I have fantasized about fishing the big tournaments, I actually don't fish any tourneys. Prefer the ease of fishing for my own pleasure and my own records. So I'd probably have done nothing different....
  18. I'd pick my most recent acquisition: 6'3" St. Croix Legend Tournament Walleye Spinning Rod 2500 Shimano Stradic FJ 10 or 15 lb Power Pro Yellow Braid + leader
  19. I, too, like Pline Floroclear; however, it gets a lot of "hate" here. But I've used it from 6-15 lb with great success. Currently I have a ton more Yo-Zuri Hybrid that I'm going through now. IMHO, you'll do fine with either of these lines. P-Line is a bit more slick than YZH, so tie some good knots.

  22. If it works for you, use it! That's all folks used for a long time. Me? Braid + a leader....
  23. Two very different baits, but hands down for me, the Trick worm catches more. Now the Zoom Tiny Fluke, that catches everything.
