Cassion Vs. Cruicial
Discontinued?! I was under the impression they're being replaced at ICAST. Hope they're not going the way of the Dodo.

Contentment, I Think.
You poor guys. LOL. I've been apologizing to my better half after the fact for the past couple purchases... the expensive ones, that is. Both Chronarch 50e reels. Those things are drugs, man.

Does Anyone Still Have Faith In Spoons?
I haven't used a spoon except for cereal, and soup. Ok, once I did catch a rather nice pike on one. But that over 20years ago.

Why Is Spinning Gear "funner"?
I'll admit, the singing drag is a nice thing with spinning reels. But if I had to make the choice, life-or-death, between the two as to which I'd rather fight a fish on...as of right now (reserve right to change my mind later, LOL) it would be my Chronarch 50e. It is still pretty cool when a bass rips drag off my casting reel. Not as cool sounding, but still cool. And it's easier to adjust casting drag (for me) while fighting a fish, should it be necessary.

Johnny Morris Rod???
Yes. If you're talking the Carbonlites, or his Signature rods. They are quite good for the money, especially when you find them on sale. My current favorite combo is a 6'6" (now 6'2") MF casting (carbonlite) rod paired with a Chronarch 50e. Super light setup, rod is plenty strong to bring in any fish (so far). Tip broke because one of our knucklehead dogs (11 month old lab=hyper) stepped on it. Otherwise, excellent rod.

Nba Conference Finals
Perhaps, I don't have a horse in the race. But it would be a great final, IMO! When it comes to NBA, I have favorites, and non-favorites. NFL, I bleed Buffalo Bills colors. NBA, I follow players more than teams these days. Was a Dr. J fan, hence 76ers fan back in the day. Then I loved Jordan, lived in Dallas and cheered for the Mavs, but my heart was with Chris Mullen and Golden State. Huge Kobe fan, so follow the Lakers closely. LeBron fan, but prefer team-wise, Pacers and Spurs.

Why Is Spinning Gear "funner"?
Well, I guess I'm in the middle here. I used to think catching a fish on spinning gear was "funner", but since I began using lighter casting setups (Chronarch 50e's on two MF rods), I've been enjoying them almost more than spinning. In fact today was the first day in a couple months I even took a spinning rod with me. And the only reason was really to cast tiny baits. Caught a 4.1 pound sow off a downed tree today on my Chronarch 50e worm setup and man did she strip line! It was awesome, just as fun as on spinning gear.

Nba Conference Finals
I'm rooting for a Spurs vs. Pacers final.... Tired of the Heat. And I don't mean the temperature.

What Reel Should I Put On My Avid?
I like higher gear reels for T-rigs, soft plastics, etc. I prefer 7.1:1, would love an 8.x:1 ratio, but my best and favorite reels are my two Chronarch 50e models that are 6.4:1. So if you like the Tatula, you'll probably love the Tatula R in a higher ratio. My .02.

My New P.b.
No question about it! A kayak changes the game! I rarely bank/dock fish anymore. Always out in the yak.

Sunglasses
I spent a lot of time a couple summers ago researching sunglasses. Ended up buying Costa 580G (glass), Brine model, I believe. Amber lens. Very happy with them, although on some days I wish they were a tad lighter color-wise (like on dark cloudy days). But I couldn't be happier with the quality and zero scratches I've had on them since I took the plunge. And I don't baby them. Use the adjustable Cablz for hanging around my neck.
