  6. 1/4 once Beetle spin and Mimic Minnow with spinner. These work great when fish are reacting to larger spinnerbaits, but not hitting them.

  15. Tried them for the first time Sunday morning. T-rigged it and caught one smallie. I will definitely try rigging them like a fat ika. The conditions just weren't right on Sunday.

    I've heard the Spike-it dye is pretty messy and gets on everything. I have the grubs and was wondering what kind of paint would work the best to make the tails red.
  20. They are safe to eat. These spots normally don't show up until later in the summer when water really warms up. They are actually tiny parasites and cooking eliminates any problem. It's the thought that bothers most people. :-/

  23. Wolf River in Wisconsin has been producing walleyes for the last couple weeks. Having best luck with 1/16 once jig with nightcrawler.
