  4. reminds me of a reverse t- rig i do with some flippin baits.. it looks good ,and it should catch nice fish
  5. fish it the same but add a bigger hook, t-rig it
  6. Myself, personally i wouldn't wear a company name, unless i was sponsored by them. I would just go with the bfl ,and name , on the shirt , and a flw hat . ive seen anglers black out mercury on the motors in some off those events. in other words, if you are wearing bps , and dicks is looking for someone, they may scan past you. or if strike king is looking for someone, why would they talk to you if you are already supporting them for free. ..just me personally, everyone has the right to do what they want.
  7. bagley, bang-o- lure, spin tail
  8. f-13 is very versatile and that's why i always have it tied on http://www.rapala.com/products/lures/original_floater/
  9. Ive done well with the smoke color flukes made by zoom. Ive had the color painted on some cranks because i liked the results. But, it seems there is only certain times the bass get turned on to the color for me.
  10. man i gotta get up wid ya about paintin some stuff for me, as soon as i save up ,i like the 2nd gill w/ the tiger stripe type pattern...o and the craw is sweet...
  11. deep water- suspending jerkbait- slow
  12. a work boot, and also in a tournament me and my partner were flippin and i felt the classic tap. i set the hook , i instantly got bulldogged to strait bottom, my partner runs for the net, what came to surface was a 6 foot gator, with a my baby brush hog, for a second i thought i had big bass for sure .. awww its a gator. not really weird to catch a gator, but weird to catch one flippin.it was pretty stained up water and we never knew it was just a few feet from the boat.
  13. take a glass jar and scoop some water , hold to the light , if you can see through it clearly its clear, if it looks like sweet tea its stained , if it looks like black coffee, its muddy. ..the darker the water- the darker the lure.
  14. yea i like watching bristol, daytona, and talladega. are my top 3 i enjoy to watch.
  15. if you want to scratch the bottom and deflect off rocks which can cause a great reaction strike go with a norman dd22, if the lake has weeds at about 12 ft. go with a bandit300, to tick the tops of those weeds, if the bass are suspended at 10ft go with a xcalibur xr-50, if holding at 6-8ft bomber model a b06a, holding at 5-3 try rapala dt-4. if just subsurface at 0-3 I'm trowing rapala f-11 or f-13 i would recommend to start with the dd22 first, crank it down to you make contact with the bottom allow it to rise, twitch it along the way up till you find what depth the fish are holding. then you may switch to another bait that works better for the depth range. all these lures are fairly inexpensive. hope this helps ,and good luck.
