  5. I catch a few off them from time to time here. They hit alot off topwater plugs, brighter colors and just chew them up and mess the trebbles up. I have caught some while fishing crappie on a jig color called electric chicken. They are every where here.
  6. seem pretty cool. there is just something about catching a fish on something you created yourself, that makes you get into it.
  7. i have used the tassel tail worm, but i like the regular worm better.
  8. topwater, and pitch t- rigged creatures. is what i like to do.
  9. those cranks are very nice, i was wondering what you make your shad dots with? i have been using notebook paper binder supports as a stincil. they stick well ,and dont leave any residue, and the size dot is the size of a hole in notebook paper.
  10. looks pretty good..does it peel or flake easily? or is it pretty solid?
  11. shad rap -#7- perch
  12. I wipe the dust off my rods, reels with a damp cloth , and use q-tips in hard to reach spots. If my line is brown and frayed and weak, I change it. I lube my reels when i change line.

  14. never used optima ,i have aways liked the interstate marine batteries.
  15. beetle spins, small jigs, roadrunners, ect. - same as fishing in the day. only difference is most guys have a light source shining in the water at night.
  16. there's gotta be a way to attach them to a hard cover 3 ring binder,i need to find a device to attach the original package to the ring without punching a hole in the bag.
  17. i like craw patterns , even if craws aren't plentiful as in other places, they can still be caught w/ them, in the right circumstances. similar a shinner pattern in a lake that has more shad.
  18. Ive been using 20 # braid , and have less backlashes with it than 12# mono. But lure weight and wind also come into play with that.
  19. yes they can, live minnows work well under a light source such as a lantern...
  20. that sounds like a pretty good feast..im going to be grilling a steak tonight.
  21. these lures didn't cost me very much to make. i made them from dowel rods, and spray paint, i need to get a paint gun...if you click the pics it comes up better
