  1. Make sure you replace it with a manual reset breaker.
  2. my guess would be there is a auto reset breaker somewhere in the circuit.
  3. I had something similar happen to me a few years ago. I was pulling into a dock and I put the motor in reverse to slow down and nothing happened the motor just revved. I get the boat stopped with the boat hook wasn't going that fast. I tilted the motor and noticed the prop was gone. I had a spare but not the washer that goes under the nut. I drove for two hours all over Ontario to find that washer. I made sure I got two.
  4. It all depends on how often you use your boat. You would need a, relatively, huge solar array to put out the 20 amps needed to charge a battery. I would suggest two 12V 300W panels and battery controllers to charge each battery. this will be $$$ http://www.solarhome.org/200wattsolarpanels.aspx
  5. that was just from cabela's I am sure you can find it elsewhere cheaper. I just posted that for the picture. $23 here http://www.reddenmarine.com/marine-supplies.cfm/fuel-system-miscellaneous/moeller-9907410/rubber-transom-pad.html
  6. it is used to protect the transom and cut down on vibration. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp;jsessionid=2SAGPZJB2M2K3LAQBBISCONMCAEFEIWE?id=0000921019151a&type=product&cmCat=froogle&cm_ven=data_feed&cm_cat=froogle&cm_pla=2061050&cm_ite=0000921019151a&_requestid=103701
  7. I have seen that site as well. He will still need to get an LED bulb that shines in all directions. I feel he would be better off exchanging what he has for something else. this one should work well. http://www.ledlight.com/t15-wedge-5-smd-5050-3-chip.aspx
  8. I would try to exchange them for a different style. You should be happy with what you purchased. They have a 30 money back guarantee.
  9. What LED bulb did you get from the website? LEDs are very directional. if you got this one. http://www.ledlight.com/t15-wedge-9-led-light.aspx all your light is going to go in one direction this one would be a good choice for an all around light. http://www.ledlight.com/t15-wedg-36-ultra-bright-smt-led-light.aspx
  10. I agree. The ones I have are much brighter than the incandescent bulbs.
  11. I am not sure why you would have that issue. Did you buy warm white or Bright white? I did not have those issues at all.
  12. I find a split bolt connector is mush easier. and they're easier to undo if needed. Just wrap with plenty of electrical tape.
  13. you will need to get the tach working before you can tell whether or not you are performing optimally. You may need to change props depending on the load you are carrying. I would use two different props depending on whether I had one or two people in the boat that day.
  14. make sure your hose, wiring and fuse are up to the task.
  15. I have one and like it a lot. It shows a lot of detail. I will even show my lure when I am drop shoting. Humminbird even has a mount for kayaks http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1273702832
  16. use this http://store.humminbird.com/products/305932/MHX_XMK follow these directions.
  17. I have read where a lot of people used marine goop to mount transducers in Kayaks.
  18. I upgraded the bulbs in my boat's navigation lights to LEDs. Wow, what a difference. The old bulbs, bow and stern, draw 3 amps of current. The new LED bulbs, bow and stern, draw .3 (point 3) amps. that is 10X less current and the new LEDs are much brighter. No worries about killing the battery when night fishing.

  20. I am three blocks from the schuylkill. I often walk down and wade in the shallower areas.
  21. True. My mistake. But, I think he got the idea I was trying to convey. I have fished those places as well. I have caught many nice fish from the Schuylkill. Just gotta know when and where to go.
  22. I beg to differ.
  23. You have the Delaware and the Schuylkill Rivers right in the city. If you want to venture further away both rivers flow into the suburbs and offer good fishing for multiple species. There are various ponds, lakes and reservoirs both in the suburbs and on the NJ side of the Delaware as well. follow this link http://fishandboat.com/county.htm you would be interested in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Chester, Delaware and Bucks counties.
  24. Check the ground between your truck and the trailer. Do not rely on the ball and coupler for your ground. Some trucks also have fuses under the hood.
