  1. I would put all the wires to a terminal block than run one heavy wire from the terminal block to the battery. Or get rid of the inline fuses and get a fuse block.
  2. What do you mean by load charge? You can load test with a load tester.
  3. What would you like to know? A fuse block usually has a heavy gauge wire that feeds it. Then they're smaller gauge wires, based on load and fuse size, that come off and feed your devices.
  4. Take the screws out of the bottom of the head. The top will come right off. The arrow just sits on top of a spline shaft. It may be stripped. You maybe able to glue it on to the shaft. When I got mine brand new it was 180° off so I had to fix it.
  5. I have a fishinbuddy 4200 by bottom line. Humminbird bought the line. It works just as well as a regular depth finder. I use it often. A big plus is I can move it between boats.
  6. There is no problem doing that. Using a freshwater motor in saltwater is not good. A saltwater has more stainless steel and better seales to keep the electronics dry. I'm sure there is more.
  7. I find a little bit of dawn dish soap and a power washer dissolves a lot of the oil, gas and other stains.

  10. Van Sciver and manor lake in Levitown are pay to fish. http://pennwarner.com/
  11. The fly wheel in on the top of the motor. If you motor has electric start it has teeth where the starter engages. If not it is just a round "wheel" on the end of the crank shaft.
  12. I would take the spark plugs out and spray into the holes as well. Then, while the plugs are out, spin the flywheel by hand.
  13. I wouldn't do it. You could stuck with a dead starting battery.
  14. Not really. The river I fish does not really freeze unless we have a long cold spell. if it does freeze it is usually less than a week.
  15. I do not winterize my outboard. I will use it a least twice a month during the winter.
  16. No need for antifreeze in an outboard. just make sure the motor is straight up and down so the water drains out.
  17. is this an outboard or inboard?
  18. did you find anything out?
  19. here is the manufacture of the boat. They may still be in business. MOLDED FIBER GLASS CO PO BOX 675 ASHTABULA OH they are http://www.moldedfiberglass.com/contact/
  20. I have two 6 gallon portable fuel tanks on my boat. most of the times I only carry one and I usually only fill it when it gets below half. If I go to a bigger lake I will bring the other and fill them both on the way to the lake.
  21. In my experience with Harbor Freight that is frequently true. I have purchased many items from harbor freight. There is one a few miles from my house. Which is nice since I can look at the stuff before I buy anything. The stuff I have bought varies in quality. The boat trailer is very well built works very well. The bungee cords are excellent. The digital multimeter works fine. The solar charger does it job as well. Their hand tool are fine for the little use I put them through. If I turned a wrench for a living I would buy better Their power tools are the same way. I bought a circular saw for $19.00 The four times I used for some work around the house it was perfect. Now I use it to cut up pallets for the chiminea and it works well. Again, if I needed for daily use as a carpenter I would go Milwaukee, dewalt or bosch. Buyer beware is what it comes down to.
  22. A 24v motor of the same pound thrust as a 12 volt motor will draw less current. Any wiring, and plug, you have in place, provided it was correct to begin with, will be good enough for any 24 volt motor.
