I have been looking at the carrot stick gold, med/fast 6'6", any opinions on this rod? I can get one for around $100-120, is there something better for that money?

I use the Heddon Sonar with some success, try different retrieves, fast, slow, and a ripping retrieve work well.

I rig them both styles, upside down and rightside up. The fish will let you know which way they like it that particular day. I do like those hydras, really cool bait.

Now that my Pats were exposed as frauds, I think the Pack are the best team left. Great defense and super offense, only potential issue being if their rookie running back doesn't keep running like he has been. Packers will win the super bowl this year, too good of a team peaking at the best possible time, and Cutler's a sour pussed bum

the tru tungsten are great, as are the sebile magic swimmers. when it comes to swimbaits your probably better off spending a little more to get a better quality, although you can get the magic swimmers for under $10 on ebay.

the fins on that thing look like toothbrush bristles. maybe basspro is into the fishes oral care.
