As for American Pickers the premise is great but the 2 guys they chose are creepy and skanky weasils. I seldom watch it for that reason. I'm pretty sure anybody they picked to be on their show about dumpster diving would have been a little greezy and rat like.

I had the 64 wide spool and loved it, awesome reel. Then it fell in the lake never to be seen again, at least by me. So then I bought the xt, and at first my combo seemed unbalanced because of the lightness of the xt, but after I got used to it, I absolutely love it! I just wish they had it in the widespool version, now when they do come out with that I will have to buy another reel.

my first instinct is to think he's a slimeball also, but the info we get to make that assumption comes from the same media that is owned by big business and that controls our govt. So i believe they laid it on thick to make him look bad, maybe he is, maybe he isn't, but I can't go by what the media reports about him.

I believe bps or cabelas sells those pontoon like stabilizers to attach to your boat to keep it nice and stable.

if your drag is set properly, and you check your line and break off a foot or so once in a while, you should really never break off. I know that when I do break, it's my own fault, usually have frayed line or didnt pay attention to my drag when starting the day.
