I know we have some raiders fans on here, so what do you think of them firing their coach after the job he has done in helping this team in his short tenure? I think Davis must have something brewing, because I believe cable really brought something to this team, and the players realize it, so hopefully the new coach can keep it going.

You guys should listen to the Ricky Williams interview he did either yesterday or today. he calls out the coach, the QB and most of his teammates saying they were underprepared and didn't give effort. He also said the Pats played the hardest of any team he played this year, and they had nothing to play for.

Yeah, I know Gruden would never go back and I'm still holding a grudge against Al Davis for letting him get away to begin with. I think Cowher is a bit over-rated.....although I wouldn't mind the Raiders giving him a try. ;D But, just like most other decent/good coaches, Cowher can see the writing on the wall in Oaktown (Al makes all the decisions, the coach is a yes man) and that scares them all away. Al has enough trouble just finding people to interview for the job. I assume your a raiders fan? I just want to thank you for the #17 pick in the next draft, too bad you guys got so good this year, we would have liked a little lower of a number.

rivers is not the issue. all great teams have 2 things; a great qb and a great coach. rivers is a verrry good qb, turner and schottenheimer are 2 verrry bad coaches.

the browns have a decent team, just need a change,and the raiders have some good players also, but I dont think Gruden would go back working for davis. Imagine cowher in oakland, I'm not a cowher fan but he would be a great fit there.

they did the right thing firing schottenheimer, but turner was not a good replacement. They both choke,proven chokers. the chargers need a hungry young coach who will discipline the team, which is a good tam, but mistake prone and too up and down.

I think they suck at picking coaches, and their players lack of discipline is a direct result of that.
