Was that the part when Brennan (Stumpy) and Martin (Dude) are walking down the street and Brennan kinda lifts his hat up and says in a deep voice "I told you to get back in there, and gets told off himself" and then starts laughing?

- Weirdest Thing You've Reeled In
That's funny, I did the same thing last summer... ;D I got out of work early one day and decided to bank fish a res on the way home. I felt a bite on my jig and went to set the hook. Well, I missed the fish, the lure came flying out of the water just missing my head and hooked onto the passenger side mirror of a passing F150. I got spooled....- Spinnerbait blades
Good luck @ KY Lake.- White Death III
Or a leaf blower.- When did it become wrong to win?
Ewing? Yes. Right after him it was Rumeal Robinson. I can't remember if they played a season together tho, they may have.- Spinnerbait blades
#5 and smaller. Front blade would be 2 sizes smaller if you're making a tandem. Typically you would see a #4 1/2 rear blade and a #3 front blade on a 3/8 oz for a tandem and a #5 rear blade & a #3 front blade on a 1/2 oz bait. I've gotten away with a #5 rear blade on a 3/8oz tandem. EDIT: I use this as a guide: http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/content/make_spinnerbaits.htm- When did it become wrong to win?
There's nothing wrong with that. I remember in high school playing against Cambridge Rindge & Latin and years prior our high school would beat them. Then my junior and senior years we had to play a Cambridge team that had a future pro (now in the Hall of Fame) on it and we got our doors blown off the first 2 games and the last game was at least close. We learned to play to our competition. It's the only way to get better. No mercy rules back then, nor should there be any.- got angler of the year in my bass club
That's awesome Senkoman12! No need to be ashamed of tying someone, it's still an incredible achievement.- What is your guy' deal with the senko type bait?
Totally agree with this statement, but not just on this site, but in everyday conversation with other fisherman. I don't hate them, I stlll use them when the bite is real slow or if I'm with my son who's learning to fish. I think this bait has more potential to get him to catch a fish, to keep him from getting bored (when he does catch fish on them, that is) and teaches him to slow down where he would rather fish a little quicker with like a spinnerbait type lure. To be honest, I only used a bag of them last year, but they are a productive bait. Kinda funny, I bumped into one guy last year still trying to keep them a secret.- Pic of a few Swimjigs---Sunfish vs. Bluegills....
Just more eye candy Skeeterman225! LOL They're all awesome. Nice to see you posting some of your work again.- Sending a rod back???
Maybe this will help to verify the shipping charges: http://www.usps.com/tools/calculatepostage/welcome.htm I sent a rod back a while ago and I can't remeber how much it was, but I think deakNH03 is close. I believe UPS & FedEX have the same type of shipping calculator.- its bad when

Welcome to BR.- Looking for some RI info
Hook, take this with a grain of salt: I've never fished there but have a few friends who t-fish it annually. It's like Tin said, it's a trick or treat lake. I've seen pics of 4-5 lbers and heard reports of "I couldn't get my line in the water fast enough" and heard of guys getting skunked. Hopefully you'll be one of those guys that "couldn't get your line in the water fast enough". Good luck, man.- Cabin fever, looking back

Very interesting links you posted BassThumb. A lot of the states here in the northeast have a lead ban in effect. Ours here in MA will be implemented in 2012 which will prohibit all sinker and jigs less than 1 oz in the state' fresh waters. It will be interesting to see in the coming years if tungsten will be prohibited as well. Thanks all, this is a very informative thread.- Italian Boy's Confession
An Italian Boy's Confession: This could only happen with a little Italian kid... 'Bless me Father, for I have sinned. I have been with a loose girl'. The priest asks, 'Is that you, little Joey Pagano?' 'Yes, Father, it is.' 'And who was the girl you were with?' 'I can't tell you, Father, I don't want to ruin her reputation' Well, Joey, I'm sure to find out her name sooner or later so you may as well tell me now. Was it Tina Minetti?' 'I cannot say.' 'Was it Teresa Mazzarelli?' 'I'll never tell.' 'Was it Nina Capelli?' 'I'm sorry, but I cannot name her.' 'Was it Cathy Piriano?' 'My lips are sealed.' 'Was it Rosa Di Angelo, then?' 'Please, Father, I cannot tell you.' The priest sighs in frustration. 'You're very tight lipped, Joey Pagano, and I admire that. But you've sinned and have to atone. You cannot be an altar boy now for 4 months. Now you go and behave yourself.' Joey walks back to his pew, and his friend Franco slides over and whispers, 'What'd you get?' 4 months vacation and five good leads.- Is there a bigger product sleeper than Roland Martin???
Seems like every show he's pushing the Color-C-Lector as well.- Favorite Prop bait
I've had very good luck with Skitter Props and Torpedos. I just finished making a Skitter Prop for my son which is a little bigger and has a larger prop. It has a nice little dog walking action to it. Good luck expanding your topwater arsenal. It's one of my favorite techniques as well.- Name a fishing technique that you absolutely LOATHE!
Vertical jigging. I really get bored with it.- Do you guys want to do anthor Lure Swap
WOW, looks like you guys are having fun with this! I wished I knew how it worked prior to it starting. Good job with this Fishn hard , hopefully you'll do this next year. I would love to jump in on it. Good luck guys. Hope you all enjoy your new baits.- Ever have a lure that just "quit working"??
