White Spinnerbaits
White just shows up and any color water IMHO. I love fishing white anything. BTW: Between you and I, throw a few strands of pink on your white spinnerbaits.

That's a lost art right there!

Soup
I used to make a hot & sour egg drop soup, but what you just posted needs some more dialog between us. That sounds awesome. ? My wife is the beef barley soup one in my house and I'm the only chowder and seafood bisque eater. You and I need to talk! Any Asian style chix is for me. ?

That seems to be a growing sport. Looks like something even my questionable knees could handle.

The Road To The Super Bowl 2022
Not sure that I'm a fan of this playoff format. I understand the revenue part of it, but do we really need that extra round? We'll see how the Bucs do, they've been banged up lately. Bills are on a mission. Prediction: Niners vs Bills in the SB.

Tying buck tail
Looks great man! Nice job.

Oversized Tubes
Yes it is, the John Skinner S&S smiling bill is another one I like. I made a bunch of bucktails - 74 - and got in some fat cow jig strips. We’ll try some three way bucktail rigging this season. I was cutting the tube I posted in three’s and used them as jig strips on my bucktails which was real productive last season. Nice striper buddy

Oversized Tubes
Thanks for the follow up. What would you say the diameter of the tube is? Would you do me a favor and post a pic? John BTW: I can’t give a “like” to your post, I’m maxed out. Getchya tomorrow

A Great Surprise !
Really? We got paid for unused time. I don't now b/c we have unlimited time off, but prior to this year I used to get at least an extra weeks pay form unused time.

Tying buck tail
I haven't spun deer hair since my fly fishing days making muddler minnows. That pattern you posted is the bomb! Would love to see you post it. Good luck.

Hooks
I agree with @islandbass, $2 and, if needed, a sharpener works for me.

Black and brown jigs
I like the black brown combination. I've always had better luck with different colored jig and trailers. If you're in stained water, black jig and chartreuse is a winner. Last year white jig and a pink trailer really did the job for me.

Multi species fishing
I like fishing the Gulf of Maine using 1/4 oz bucktails on a dropper loop. I'm using a 6'9 Daiwa Fuego rods with Daiwa CC80H reels. My son and I will catch Pollock, Cod, Cunner, Sea Raven with some schoolie Striped Bass mixed in. My son was a Sophomore in HS and got back into fishing with me last year when I got the new boat. We haven't fished since he was in grade school.

The official "Who's drinking tonight?" thread
On the wagon for a bit. Nutrition has gone MIA on me and it’s time to shed the added holiday pounds. I’m looking to run the annual July 4th 5K race up at my house in Maine this year. I haven’t done it since 2016 so I want to lose a few more pounds to keep the drumsticks (knees) happy.
