  • Gotta say, last night's loss really hurts. Close to the loss to  the NYG's in the first of 4 in a row SB losses. A friend told me his former NFL buddy said the kick off instead of a squib

  • Do we really call it an upset when Dallas gets eliminated in this millennium?

Trevor Lawrence will win a couple of games on his own. If the rest of the team can bring anything to the table,

they might win a couple more.

Looks like Diva Rodgers has reported to Packers training camp in exchange for a restructuring of his deal which includes the choice to be dealt to the team of his choice after this season.

There's rumbling about the Eagles being interested in a trade for Watson.  God, no!!

Meh is designed to be rude and dismissive - a sure-fire conversation-stopper. Users of the word are unequivocal in their total indifference to what is being discussed. Recipients of the word are under no illusion that the subject under discussion is of no interest to their listener.

Ouch!

But good for the Hawks since that's their season opener.  :)

I thought they still had Brissett, who was a pretty serviceable QB I thought, but he plays for the Phins now. Their QB prospects are pretty bleak,

Preseason is kinda fun for both NFL and college.  Everyone is hopeful and all the players are healthy.

The Titans added Julio Jones a month or so ago, could be interesting

I expect them to win there division and get a playoff birth. Not to mention Houston is a dumpster fire, Jags are very young, and the Colts are iffy as of now. There running back is a beast and now they have added another prime receiver in Julio to help.

The first day of working in pads ....

Things got chippy -- no, extra chippy -- on the first day the New York Giants strapped on the pads, and second-year coach Joe Judge wasn't having any of it.

A full-team brawl broke out, with starting quarterback Daniel Jones ending up beneath the scrum.

The sequence began with a lengthy run by running back Corey Clement. Tight end Evan Engram took exception to a hit by Jabrill Peppers. From there, Logan Ryan took exception to Engram's actions, and the battle royal was on. Jones reportedly inserted himself into the mix after it had already broken out.

A furious Judge then lined the team up for gassers, then put them through a series of push-ups while reportedly spewing a profanity-laced tirade. High school-like discipline, to be sure -- all that was missing were field-length crab walks.

"There's consequences for that kind of stuff and that's the way it is in the game," Jones told reporters, via the team's transcript. "If you lose your cool, there's consequences and that hurts the team, so that was the message and everyone understands that."

The best news to come of the fracas was that Jones, the No. 6 overall pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, managed to come away unscathed. Jones said he was "fine" after being piled on and didn't feel the need to shy away from the melee despite being the team's starting QB.

If the Titans don't win that division it would be a massive upset.  I am not sure how much Julio has left in the tank though.  He's always injured too.
