Lure Weight Limits of a BC Reel
Basically every 50 to 200 sized reel (your Revo included) will have no issues up to an ounce. Even over an ounce shouldn't be a big deal. Guys use 200 sized reels (Basically your Revo) on swimbait rods up to 4 ounces. So let the rod determine the baits and don't sweat the reel.

Lake Champlain Guide Rec
Brian Labelle (megabass charters on fb and insta) Dude is suuuuuuuper nice and ungodly good. Pros come up here and want to learn from him. Tell them Weber Sent you/him. Alternatively if he's not available Dave Morrissette out of the Anchorage Cottages. Dude is a stud and a great guy. Ryan Latinville out of Plattsburgh is amazing as well. Same as above tell them I sent you.

Extra fast action casting rod question..
Moving baits... a high quality mono doesn't give up much to fluorocarbon. I'd go higher ratio to take up slack better.

Should I keep it the way it is, fix it, or replace it all?
Strip the guides and tip and lockout. Get into building your own rods.

You've never held a rod like this in your hand before
What confuses me is the Victory is a slightly better blank and US made but only $10 more than the MOJO. Does the grip really make that much of a difference?

Slight 'Bump' in baitcaster retrieve?
I'd bet the house it's the plastic gear that drives the Worm gear. Just disassemble on a towel laying out everything in order. The gear in question is under all the drag and gearing on the driveshaft. You'll see a tooth or 2 marfed up. You can use a razor to trim off the deformed plastic (not the whole tooth!!) and run it that way but it's kinda ghetto.

Slight 'Bump' in baitcaster retrieve?
Knob. Worm gear dirty or damaged. Plastic gear that drives the Worm gear is damaged.
