they have the same blank as the Cara T7's but they have foam handles instead of cork (i prefer cork) and they have a different reel seat.. also i prefer the real seat on the Cara T7.. its pretty much a Cara with foam grips and a different reel seat and its a little cheaper than the Cara.. all in all i would get the Cara T7 imo. also if you are looking at tackle warehouse's site they dont show all of the falcon models, to view the full line up you must visit their website ttp://falconrods.com/

Mega strike.. I use it because i honestly believe it makes the the fish hold on longer when they are weary maybe due to fishing pressure or they are just flashing it or light bites

i have a pair of costas..but they are second to my oakleys they are both good but i like the fit and the clarity of the oakley straight jackets

Well guys i believe this just going to be a trial and error thing, my last two frog rods were to stiff for me. Im going to just try several rods and see which i like the best. so i just ordered the 7'3 lamiglas excel frog rod with a revo stx :-? this is the last chance im giving revos, im a shimano guy but i will make an exception on my frog setup bc i do like the 24lbs? of drag on the revo. I also ordered a new flippin stick i got a power tackle flippin stick im goin to throw a frog on it a little bit also and see how i like it.

shimano! centrifugal brakes are way better than magnetic imo.. i do own the sx and its a good reel but i don't think it cast lighter baits well. i tried to use it for my backup wacky setup and it would not throw a weightless worm very good.

i picked up my brothers excel yesterday and was playing around with it throwing a frog in the pool and i noticed that the excel is a little on the heavy side.. but i love the action of the rod its a little bit softer than that broomstick i was using. hmmmm

Price is not an issue.. my brother has the excel frog rod and he likes it as well, guess i need to throw his and see how i like it

My frog rod snapped and i need some suggestions on a new one.. my last one was way to stiff which is why i think it snapped it had little give in it
