I've been feeling the same since i was 8. I'm 15 now and all i've done this summer is here and fishing. I'm starting to have sleepless nights thinking about all the latest and greatest fishing equipment and tackle. Not to mention it's hard for me to leave Bass Pro without spending 50+ dollars on tackle alone Haha and just keep ordering free catalogs from Bass Pro! Its like Tylenol it makes the bad feelings go away!, but be warned... Its only temporary. Haha my family has told me i'm addicted and people I dont know at BPS have told me I have a problem. Once the bait monkey gets on your back, all he does is grow, and grow, and grow!! If your lucky, your family can help you. The only cure is to buy more. And they have money. haha Between me and the forum, I've taken a worm and brush hug to school a couple times! ;D 8-)

Lowriders are nice rods for 130 and to get it with a Fuego for $185!!! Thats a steal IMO

I think dirty ork gives rods character IMO. And to fill in missing clumps of cork take a cork form a wine bottle and sand it down till there's nothing left. Then mix all the shavings with glue and fill in the cork.

SBJ what kinda reel is that with the clear side cover? Is that an after-market part or did it come stock, seeing the gears is so sick! ;D

Funny i've literally caught blue gills before just dead sticking a standard live bait hook. I think its because the hook is gold but idk.

The blank and the wrap. Also I think the guides but don't quote me im not 100% on the guides. But yes if they have the champion extreme in your rod preference. go for it. I know the regular extreme has more choices.

I'd rather get a new PQ, Carbonlite or Citica for only a few dollars more. PQ is the only one I believe that has a low gear ratio though. And really for ten dollars more, I'd buy a new PQ 8-)

Well, i want to start getting really into throwing cranks. I have all the right gear for it, and often try to do it as much as possible. BUT, i've never caught or hooked a fish on a crank. Can you guys tell me how to fish it? I know somebodies gonna say read the articles, I already have. But when I try it out i'm always skunked on cranks. Please help! Thanks, Collin.

I was about to pull the trigger on I a St.Croix of some sort there, but at the last second i decided to double chech it with SC's website. The power was 2 ratings off and the action was Mod/fast instead of fast. I made sure to tell them about it, and because they're such a great store they gave me a $25 gift card 8-) Great store!
