  3. they look good, might have to buy a pack for myself.
  4. Your Avid I would use for Buzzbaits and frogs. Buy a nice soft rod for your treble hook lures ie. pop-r's Zara spooks etc.
  5. If you live in the Dale City area of VA Brother's Pizza makes a good pie!
  6. To be honest braid is the best line when using any type of frog to get that solid hookset. You can almost use a jig rod with braid for frogs. If you can though, use one rod for froggin with braid, and one for other topwater with mono.
  7. I use Sufix Seige 17# mono. Its a good line all around for topwater.
  8. MH or H Power. If using braid fast tip. If using mono XF tip
  9. Amen Brother! ;D If you want a challenge try throwing a weightless worm as far as you would a weighted one. If you can do that, you've mastered the cast 8-) for then, then you can do roll casts on both sides of your body. Flip and pitch. IMO Baitcasting is the most versatile casting gear out there.
  10. btw what is JDM? And I had no idea there was mono that costs that much.
  11. I believe it was Hank Parker who said, "For every one rule in bass fishing, there are at least 10 exceptions."
  12. Bass Pro Shops Pro Qualifier. Absolutely the best reel money can buy under $100. Or if you have $120 get the Carbonlite. Its ~3 ounces lighter and has nice nice reel knobs IMO 8-) Any questions on either just shoot me a PM
  13. Falcon Lowrider XG : http://www.***.com/Falcon_LowRider_XG_Split-Grip_Casting_Rods/descpage-FLSGC.html Curado 50E for light baits Premier for every thing else 8-) Hey, maybe you can hook a brother up with one of those deals you'r getting?
  14. I dont think price really affects the brand you go with when your talking mono. It's all inexpensive. But Sunline is a good choice.
  15. thanks. those are some older pics from a canon 570is. macro and auto mode lol. it does have some manual features but i dont know much about it. I was using a Kodak Zi8. A little beast for video, but for photo's all I have is Auto and Macro. Russ, thats on sick looking Fuego

  21. Yellow perch belong to the family Percidae, which also includes walleye, sauger and darters. White perch belong to the temperate bass family, Percichthyidae, which also includes white bass and stripers. Largemouth and smallmouth bass are part of the sunfish family, Centrachidae, which includes bluegill, pumpinseeds, rock bass, and pygmy sunfishes. The Nile Perch is from the family Latidae. They are closely related to the Australian Barramundi. All of the above belong to the order Perciformes, or perch like fishes. Most fish belong to this order. Thanks for the scientific-ness ;D
