  2. What do you guys like? The beaver has been pretty good lately for me, getting the very few fish i've gotten in this heat on it, just pitching it in and around structure. I've got some RI Sweet Beavers, and Strike King Rodents, and some small beavers that I dont know what they are. Are they're any other one's I should look at? With a good range of colors? I generally like a good solid watermelon with a swirl on pearlescent blue in there. (See: Hematoma or Magic Craw by RI) Any suggestions?
  3. Well, he wagered some impeccable dentures I just couldn't resist, man those were some nice chompers.... But seriously, I was just putting along at a nice solid 10 mph, and the motor make some weird noise and then... Death. Wouldn't work for poop. Me and my dad tested all the batteries and connections, but that sketchy china motor just wouldn't go. No return policy either, we bought it used  Good thing I could pedal back, LOL. Now I just have an expensive bike, AND no money. I'll go look at some real gas ones on Thursday, I'll have to spend more, but hopefully less than $50 a month for a while, plus it should have a warranty.
  4. Magnetic brakes are not cheap, just a different style, and while Daiwa's do utilize magnets, the system is FAR from that of a standard mag brake. Daiwa's act like a regular centrifugal, but are much smoother and only utilize brakes when needed.
  5. My god, I was riding to the corner store, and it broke Time to put it on craigslist for parts, because repairing any chinese model will be a hassle is what i've been told. Guess i'll just take what I make and do some payments for something american, that I can get at a dealer hopefully. Lesson learned. China is NOT the answer.
  6. Kinda related, i've yet to find a fishing app that I like, but I use the Weather Underground app to know the conditions i'll face, and stuff like that.
  7. What is you lined tebow up with some receivers on the kick off? Tebow could field the ball, and if things got bad, he could throw it across the field to a wide open receiver. Of course, assuming it's a good throw (75% chance)
  8. Nah, we all know that Silver and Blue truely are the best colors, i'll drive all my neighbors mad!
  9. I have that app. It ALWAYS tells me largemouth fishing will be at its peak ALL DAY.
  10. Clear water : Match the hatch Stained water: Match the hatch, with some bright colors in there
  11. Actually in VA, as long as it goes under 35 no license, plates, or insurance is needed. Its just slow, LOL. I have a valid real license anyways, its just a piece of paper they give you in VA, but you have to wait so many months before you can get your plastic card (Which I dont understand) And thanks for all the fun replys guys! I cant wait to do my gangster lean in front of all the ladies and blow down lawn chairs
  12. My new ride to get me to work and back, is a used street legal E-Scooter haha. Insurance costs way too much until I get a hard-copy of my liscence, (Which I dont understand, it doesn't affect anything), so until that happens I got an E-Scooter to get me to work, which is 3 miles, and back. Its a scooter with two batteries, and pedals just in case. But get this, the top speed? a whopping 18 MPH!!! I'm sure people will love me going 15 in the right hand lane, in a 40. Does anyone know If I can just ride in the safety lane? I'm assuming it's illegal, but people on bikes do it. But anyways, I dont have to rely upon my dad to come get me at 10:30 at night now! He's stoked, because his bed time is 8:30. Anyways, take a gander
  13. I've never used a Mossyback, But I have absolutely NO reason to buy anything more expensive than a Powell Max. They are simply put, AMAZING rod. They're so light and crisp, balance is great, and the sensitivity is more than I need. Check out my review of them I did a while back, here : http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/104608-powell-max-review/
  14. I live in Stafford VA, and man the bite has been really tough at Aquia and Curtis, and being limited to shore, I cant think of many other places to go. In my neighborhood, (Vista Woods) there is a small pond, but its surrounded by houses, and I dont want to trespass to see if there is fish in it. There is a small opening where I can get to the waters edge legally, but its not a big enough hole in the trees to actually cast. But man, do I want to fish that pond! I've tried searching the internet for any ponds that I can fish locally, but I cant find any results Does anyone know of any ponds in the area that I can fish!? Or any smaller bodies of water? My dad refuses to go anywhere that's farther than 20 miles, so alot of places are just too far. Man, I wish I had a boat. Anyways, any help is appreciated. Thanks!
  15. I have no idea because smallies are few and far between in my waters, if there at all. But I wouldn't think so. Maybe their diet has more to do with it, and the locations they habitat.
  16. Half of my shirts are under armour, and they range from white and black, to bright orange, to sky blue. Neither affects me when fishing from shore.
  17. If your not fishing a frog in the slop, you're missing out.
  18. My god, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS CASTING, PLEASE GET A ZILLION! Seriously though, Zillions are great, solid, workhorses, and the casting.... my god you can get some distance! Also, these are VERY ergonomic reels. They just kinda, melt away in my hand.
  19. For everything you want to throw, mostly poppers, I would opt for a Powell Max 683C (MH/XF) 6'8" rod. This thing is a heck of a versatile rod, and would be good for all around topwaters.
  20. Haha, lucky me, I have the sown on non-moveable type!
  21. Yup. I believe they use a third party format, because alot of other forum mobile sites are the exact same (minus color), but regardless it's much better than using the full site on your phone.
  22. Does anybody else just really like sleeping on the couch? I always like to sleep on the couch rather than my bed, even though my bed is really comfy, there is just something about being on the couch, with the TV on low. Im not sure what it is, maybe its the quiet TV, or it being an open space compared to my room (10x12), but man, the couch is just better and I sleep better. Am I the only one?
  23. Haha i'm glad somebody laughed and knew what it was, haha
  24. Just to let you know, one of your craw arms is backwards! but to the real question, I've made some molds before of my favorite plastics. I thought I would use them all the time but rarely do. Anyways, watch this video, if you want to do some 2 piece molding
