Pretty good lake, and decent shore fishing. I've caught my PB there. You can annihilate them on jigs. I actually fish this lake alot, it's only a few minutes from my house. Sorry, I don't have a boat though to take you out on the water. I also have two very nice, public, unpressured spots. PM me if you would like to know them 8-)

When I change mine I have the same problem. I just checked GC, FF, and IE and its all the same. It happens to me when I switch avatars too. Some browsers will have it, while others will not for a few weeks. Try deleting your cookies.

Bass Fishing Parties. You know how women have tupperware parties, and Purse Parties, And jewelery parties? Why don't men have Bass Fishing Parties? You give a way little lures to people who come, and sell rods and reels away, maybe have little auctions for a "Mystery Box." Seems like a good idea to me. Or if they do have these sorts a things, Companies please?

What Daiwa reel? I haven't felt a bad one yet, although i've never touched a steez. I like the Advantage HSTA frame and the Zillion frame the most though. Where do you get all of these reels? Do you have a really high paying job for a 15 year old? Just curious. I don't own them, but I have fished my Uncle's HSTA and he recently purchased a Zillion he let me use for about an hour. I should start my job though mid way through this month if all goes right. 8-) Where are you gonna work? I have an internship with the DGIF this summer, and I'll probably work at Green Top or an air conditioning company locally. They pay $17 an hour. ;D Ace Hardware. Probably ~$9/hr

Fuji Reel seat, plus Daiwa reel = The best fits for me so far. Shimano's and Abu/BPS/Pfleuger reels are pretty good too.

Thats what I thought, until a while ago I said something like that and was told I had it backwards.

I thought that if you had two, say, 7' M power rods, with different actions, that one tip would bend easier? :-? And its not that I read of magical powers in soft tips, Its just I've never really understood if tips can be softer.

But which tip is softer, like easier to bend. I already knew where rods bent per action

So an XF would be stiffer tip, and a F would be a softer tip?

I'd skip the Sahara and get an Exceler.

I just bought a 301dsv and like it (for $100), but want a smaller reel with a 6.x:1 ratio. I would go for the curado but, I am not sure weather to get a 5:1 or 7:1. I use my rods and reels for a wide range of techniques and figure the middle is a good place to be. You ready to sell me that 301d yet? ;D Absolutely not! I haven't actually fished it yet, but I have done some practice casting in the snow when the temp reached the mid 20's one day. I can't wait to try it on the water. This reel is why I want another shimano. If the curado 201E came in a 6:1 ratio I would be all over it. The Curado50E is smaller and has a 6.X:1 gear ratio.
