Favorite / Most productive Top water?
Walking baits produce the best for me also. Favorite is the Gun Fish 95 in Ghost Blue Shad. Just got my hands on a Barely Legal Vixen and I think it's going to produce very nice. I like the fact that, when dead sticked, the back end doesn't sink like the Gun Fish and Sammy. It's also loud and has a unique sound.

So whatcha paying for gas?
$3.09 for 87 octane. It is what it is. Does it mean I'm old when I can say, "I remember when a gallon was 99 cents!"

Double TKO!
But he wasn't out. He was just resting. :

Bakersfield fishing
Lake Success should be a short drive for you. I drove by it last weekend and it looked very nice. Lots of trees in the water and they allow night fishing in the summer months. 8-)

Ever catch a snake or a frog while bass fishing?
Yep! Don't worry, it survived. 8-)

Got your passport ?
My girlfriend has been waiting on hers for 7 weeks now. I know of a spot in downtown L.A. that will do that (as well as many other not good things).

Whooo Hooo !!! :-) It only takes one fish......
Amazing, regardless of what anyone says or thinks!

Your chance to top Fish Chris!
51% of state record. 61% of "Official" lake record. Not bad for just 2 years in the game. Are you speaking about Florida or bass in general? For the most part, 20 feet is rather shallow of us. We catch bass in 50-80 feet at certain times of the year. It's the norm. If you can't fish deep, you wont catch fish.

swimbait on spinning gear?
Yup! A buddy of mine does the same. Braid and all.
-
p line xtra strong (cxx)
I use 4 to 8 pound CXX on spinning gear with NO problems. Only time I have problems is when the spool is over filled. I use 4 to 6 pound on a 750 size Shimano and 8 pound on a 2500 size.

ML rod?
Dropshot for sure. 3 pounders feel like hawgs! 8-)

Tried "Fat Ika's" Cousin "Big Ika"
I believe they cost about $6.50 per bag/10 Ikas. Has anyone tried the little cousin, Ika? Deadly! 8-)

Dropshot.

PLEASE PASS THE MOJO
Awesome! It was an honor to be a part of this. It couldn't have ended up with a better person. Clay is an inspiration to everyone, not just us bass anglers.

Couple night fish
Night fishing rules! Nice wakebait fish. I'm still struggling with the technique. I should just leave everything else at home. Interesting about the rattles. You emphasized "NO rattles". You're getting bit more with no rattles eh? Are there times that you do use rattles at night?

Megastrike
I have both the original Megastrike and the GYCB Megastrike. They both smell the same to me. No where does it say that the GYCB version is a Crawfish scent but that doesn't mean it's not.

Shimano baitcasters - the good news and bad.
Avid, You slippin'? Using the spinning reel too much or what?

Reel coming loose
I haven't had that problem with my Premier.

Sixty Degrees Outside Today!?!?!
I was thinking the same thing... 8-)

stitchin
The fish will, in most cases, pick up most of the slack for you. Let the rod load up and "let 'em feel the steel".

Mattlures Commercial
Great baits. Must have for any swimbait arsenal.
