Like conditioner
There is no so called line conditioner made solely for flouro that excludes all others. At least none that I’m aware of. All should help regardless of what type even braid, even tho the results are minimal Mike

Only One
Keeping in mind the majority of the time I fish in Central and So Florida, I DO use them all year. The only caveat is in the winter in post front conditions and then only after a major temp change. At those times I’ll just down size to either a Rage Cut R or the smaller Speed Worm and usually just pitch them in holes of heavy to moderate vegetation and blown over reed heads. Low 50’s down here can be a consistent early morning, late evening temp from late Dec to early April. That’s still not cold enough for a change. Mike

I read somewhere that it’s the Senko, and #297 is the most popular color. Mike

Aches and Pains
After 2 spinal fusions I can’t really stand, sit or lay down for extended periods of time. When Mrs Mike and I go some place where we have to stand in a line, I have to sit and wait for her to call me up. Fishing is really tough sometimes. Standing and trying to balance for 8 hrs is a killer. Mike

Only One
All the ways @LrgmouthShad stated above. Those things are my absolute favorite bait, plastic or hard and have been fir years. I only throw the Magnum. The majority of the time I rig it with an 5/0 Trokar TK 120 Ewg hook, unpegged 3/16 weight on 40# braid. The only difference is when fished on top unweighted but with the same set up. Another way that I forgot to tell @LrgmouthShad awhile back (sorry pal) Is When approaching “frog water” and they either don’t want nothing to do with a frog or just try to kill it without committing, I always follow up with the Speed Worm casting past where they hit it and burn it back, more times than not they crush it. Another way to rig it is with a keel weighted hook for more of a horizontal fall. However, when swimming through a pad field, submerged or emergent vegetation, I think a more vertical fall through any opening is far more effective. Hope that helps. Mike

Johnny Morris rods/reels from Bass Pro Shops
I have a 10yr old JM Signature reel. It’s a little bigger and heavier than anything else I use, but it’s still one of my favorites. Mike

What is your favorite bait to cover water?
Most baits for me are conditions based. But to just cover water in most situations I usually start with a Rage Cut R, UV Speed Worm or a RI Skinny Dipper. Mike

New to Wacky and Neko - tool question
You don’t really need to buy the tool to put the O ring on if you didn’t want to. Get a fairly fat ball point pen, take it apart and slid the ring over the point with the stick bait in the opposite opened end and slide it on. Same principle as the tool and works just as well. Mike

Nope, because it is Mike

Lures you wish worked for you, but don't
I’m to the point now that I only throw baits I’ve had success with. I really don’t experiment with what’s new and popular any more. As a co angler it’s all about what rods and baits I need to use for most conditions but still trying to be efficient with what I bring and effective with what I use. Mike

Do you fish the same place or new places more?
Kinda the same for me in Central / South Florida. I consider Okeechobee my “home” lake only because I’ve fished it more often for a longer time than all the others. There are dozens of other waters within a 2 hr drive that I’ve fished one time or another that hold fish that at few and certain times could be a better choice, but I keep coming “home” Mike
