  2. I know how you feel. I grew up in Englewood (‘nuff said) My wife is from the Division and Pulaski area. Some areas of NW side are very nice with a low crime rate, but he still has to careful no matter where you’re at. All my best. Mike

  4. Bless your Mom! I was born and raised in those neighborhoods on the South Side, it’s best that he left. Mike

  6. I have no idea. I wish I did Mike
  7. To me it’s the most reliable workhorse of a reel made. It doesn’t need all the new fancy materials and internals that the newer generation reels have to make it work regardless of what’s tied on. It will cast as far with minimum backlash with little required maintenance than anything I’ve owned. It’s the simplicity, and consistency of it that appeals to me. Mike
  8. It took me a few years to get where I’m at now so I have no interest in changing anything. I use original Power Pro braid and Sunline Shooter and Sniper fluoro None have given me a reason to change. Mike
  9. I’ll be at a cabin in NC with the family. The kids rented it for Mrs Mike and I for our 50th anniversary so our family can be together. If I can get a signal I’ll be on. Mike

    Congratulations!! Beautiful Mike
  13. Big O is the nick name of Steve Parks. He is the developer and designer of all Rage products for Strike King. I first met him at a BR road trip on Lake Wilson in 2014. At that time the Rage Bug was in the prototype stage and we were the first to use them. I was in a boat with him and was the first and have used them ever since. Mike
  14. You’re gonna love em! Mike
  15. I’d have to find a marina for her. Mike
  16. To me the best reel made is the Curado E regardless of the make or model made by anybody. Sure the newer ones have all kinds of improvements, but it doesn’t necessarily make them better. Mike
  17. It’s great you got out again. Im sure it was a little emotional, but keep it up. Mike
  18. I would say small poppers, flukes and trick worms. Mike
  19. I also have fished with several pro’s over the years mostly from the back in tournaments. A few I stay in contact with even today. But I’ll tell ya, I’ve learned more from some of the full time local guides than I have from some of them. But the one man I would pay whatever he wants to fish with would be Big O again. The last time we fished together it was advanced nuclear science! The subject matter was one thing, but the little nuances of what he knows blew me away. But there are a few on this board that I would love to fish with any time anywhere Mike
  20. Forgot about those! Excellent swim stick bait that if the Speed Worm don’t get em, the Cut R can clean up. Mike
  21. Rage Bug, and Craw have mostly replaced all like baits. Mike
  22. We don’t get a lot of jet skiers on the Lake or the Glades, not even that many on the Kissimmee Chain, but those air boats are a different subject. Mike
