  1. Glad I finally made it in! Are you changing the playoff numbers considering one division?? Mike
  2. Where's everyone at??
  3. This ones got teeth! Mike
  4. I don't care Mike
  5. Thank You Tom!!! I really appreciate your offer! I'll let you know. Mrs Mike found a B&B somewhere on the other coast so we'll be heading out Saturday. I have a house on the sw coast but I rented it out when we hit the road. Now I Wish I didn't do it ? Mike
  6. Thanks Pal! I sincerely Thank You for your very kind offer. We're probably gonna head out Saturday and pick up the pieces once it passes. I just hope this thing is at least upright when we get back. Thanks again Mike
  7. BEARS!! 'nuff said Mike
  8. @Sam I have no truck to move it yet. If it continues on its path by Saturday, Mrs Mike and I will leave and try to find a place to stay for a few days in the opposite direction and come back when it's all clear. At least that's the plan Mike
  9. Yeah, its gonna be interesting. We live in an 18k lb, 42ft fifth wheel that is parked at a rv resort just south of Melbourne Fl. I can't move it as I haven't got a truck yet.. (Dealer moved it here when I bought it) We're keeping a watchful eye on this thing because as of now the middle of the "cone" is right over us. Mike
  10. That problem went away when I started using an Owner keel weighted hook with cps on all paddle tail swim baits. Try it Mike
  11. Good thing we didn't have our draft tonight. Somebody would be upset!!! Mike
  12. Thought So.. Thanks Tom Mike
  13. Yeah Buddy!!! Mike
  14. Only when practicing for a tournament and sometimes when I take the kids out. Mike
  15. In the 20+ years I've fished the lake I have never heard of anyone catching a Peacock there. But there have been times a wayward Tarpon made its way past the locks so I guess anything is possible. But to specifically target Peacocks, No Tom, Let us know what he says. Mike
  16. Punching...7'4" Quantum Smoke H/XF, Curado G, 80lb Power Pro. Heavy Cover...7' Fenwick Techna AV MH/F, Curado I, 20lb Shooter. Moderate Cover...7'2" Phenix M1 MH/F, Curado K, 14lb Sniper. Mike
  17. You got some Excellent advise. The only thing I will add is don't get discouraged when you backlash, your first cast's go straight down, or you don't get the distance you want. As as you learn, in time all that will come. Mike
  18. Ditto Mike
  19. Pitching into weed edges and pockets with what you describe is your problem, assuming your hook is set good. 3/0 superline hook is too much and not enough. Considering your setup and where you're using it, an unpegged, 4/0, thinner wire hook would be the way to go. Mike
  20. I do, and yes I think it helps. Some I'll thin out but most I'll use as it comes. The feathers help to keep it floating. Mike
  21. All The Best to you! Mike
  22. Just as @Bluebasser86 stated above. Its an option that sometimes is needed, sometimes it's not. Other than useing a trailer almost always in "rough seas" There's no specific condition that makes me choose one way or another most of the time. Mike
  23. Depends. When I do I use a Zako. Same trailer I use on a chatterbait. Mike
