Line for Jig and Worm setup
Either one depending on the majority of the cover you fish in the most. I only use braid for frogs (50#) and punching (80#) but not exclusively. I'll use 14# or 16# Sniper for most bottom contact presentations in light to moderately heavy vegitation and 20# Shooter for the heavy stuff and light punching. I'll also use Shooter for swimming worms, and swim baits regardless of cover. Mike

Is Flouro more important on chatterbait/spinnerbait combo OR crankbait rod
I use flouro for most everything and have been for years. I don't have the problems with it as a lot folks on this board seem to have and are quick to point out. Like most things it's personal preference. Again, personally speaking I don't use InvisX because of its stretch, which is close to what mono has. So to answer your question, If I had to I would use what you have for both spinnerbaits/chatterbaits and for shallow running cranks. However, If you just don't want to use it a quality copoly would be an option. Mike

Green pumpkin, the best all around color?
In clearer than usual water in scattered grass down here, a Alabama Craw colored Rage Bug can tire you out! Mike

Green pumpkin, the best all around color?
Keep in mind, plastic color is dictated by conditions and prevalent bait. Down here it's mostly Junebug for me. When that slows I'll change to anything with a little red. Green Pumpkin is always last. Mike

Something You Have Yet to Accomplish in Fishing...
I have never caught a small mouth bass!! I don't care much about not catching a spot or any other type. Just one small mouth and I'm a happy man. Mike

Using a Snell Knot for flipping and punching vegetation
Thanks for sharing James! Even tho I tie mine a little different, I agree its the best knot to use when punching. I also use it sometimes for flipping or pitching in moderate to heavy cover. Mike

Baitcaster/Spinning Reel
Casting right Don't use spinning gear at all The ones I have I save for the grandkids. They are all left reeling and have no intention of changing them. I taught my older grandkids to reel right when they starting useing casting gear because that's all I had. They're all good with the setups and do just fine. Mike

Star Trek: Picard
I'd rather watch reruns of James T, Spock and the rest. It just doesn't seem right not to remain loyal to the original and watch any of the off shoots. ? Mike

Shimano
Shimano is one of the best reel manufacturers there are. Most of my baitcasters are Shimano and rarely have I had a problem. Can't speak about thier spinning reels as I don't use them, but I'm sure they are just as well built. Mike

Hard to find help nowdays
There's an old saying.. "If all the kids in the world went to college, who's gonna clean the fish" Seems to me that most Kids nowadays don't have the work ethic as older generations had and have. They will change jobs just for the sake of change and do just enough not to get fired before they quit. Those who just bide thier time waiting for someone or the government to support them without having to work for it, just don't understand that jobs are given, careers are made. Mike
