Favorite Swim Jig Paddle Tail Soft Plastics ?
I don't have much success with a swim bait trailer for some reason. When do rig one it's a Skinny Dipper. I like either a twin tail grub or the Rage Menace better. Mike

Soft Plastics + Hot Car
Ever have a creased fluke tail? A folded over swim bait paddle tail? Or how about an out of shaped ribbon tail? Lay them on a piece of paper towel placed your dashboard in hot car. Wait few minutes and they'll be like new. Mike

Sorry OP I guess I read it wrong. Thanks @NHBull Mike

Pound line for ewg
You can use anything you want. The lb test of what you're useing has no bearing on the hook being an ewg or not. Mike

Low Hooking %
I think this happens to us more than we think, especially with longer 6"+ plastic. Our equipment is fine. More times than not we feel them and go. Personally, I have to remind myself to "weigh" the fish first before hitting them. Mike

strike king cut-r-worm
The vast majority of my hits come from swimming it in 2-6ft with a 3/16 unpegged tungsten weight. The trick with these is the tail position. For swimming I hook tail down as Big O, the designer intended. If you're gonna t rig and present it like any other worm, then tail up. Some say it doesn't matter... It does. Mike

FAVORITE PUNCH RIGS
I started useing them when they first came out and has now become a permanent option. For some reason when I tried useing a skirt with them my hit rate went down! (I don't get it either) Mike

Ted I've lived in SW for over 40yrs and would like to help you out but I need more info to do it right. You can fish for bass from Naples to Sarasota. There are rivers, canals, ponds and small lakes that hold fish. You're within 1 1/2 hours of Okeechobee and Trafford. 2-3 from Istopoka, Grassy, Crooked, Placid, Kissimmee and Harris Chain, Toho and a few others. Some you need a boat some you don't. If you want salt water just look West! There are rivers, bays, harbor's, canals, jetties, piers, etc. that will keep you busy for years. Mike

Kind of don't know...
Keep in mind. Depending on how long your cast's are an imperfection can be way up the line where you won't feel or see it most times. What I do sometimes is I'll make a cast and let the line lay without what I have tied on pulling on it. Any kink or nick will show itself as it's reeled back on. Mike

May God Bless them all. Including my Uncle Jim. Platoon Sgt. 101st Airborne Division. Who crashed landed in a glider and died behind German lines on the first night. I wish I would have met him. Mike

Texas rig and braid
Sure! I have 80# on my heaviest punch rig. 45# is kinda low for punching through thick hydrilla and hyacinth mat's, down here at least. You're good Mike
