For me it has always been and always will be a plastic worm of some sort. Starting with one that has it own action..a speed worm, ribbon tail or cut r. If they're not chasing then a do nothing stick worm. Mike

I Never tie a leader. My hook knot is a SDJ and will retie after every 1/2 dozen or so fish. Most times it's really not needed, it's a confidence thing. Mike

Been using the single for years and have never had it fail. Its a confidence thing with me as is using flouro for all set up's except 2. Use what you know, no such thing as overkill when it comes to knots. Mike
