  1. There is a publication called Hemmings Motor News that is kinda the classic car buyers bible. Even tho it kinda caters to the mid to higher end, it has enough listings for all budgets, models and years. Mike
  2. Say Hello to Mr G! You have some decisions to make first, here are few... How much money do you have to buy one? How much disposable money do you think you’ll have in the years after you get it? Do you want a trailer queen to take to shows far and wide? Do you want a 20 footer to take to local shows and cruise inn’s? Do you want something, anything to putz around with and drive and not care if it gets dinged in parking lots or get rained on?? Do you want speed, handling, both or don’t care? How much hands on restoring do you want to do? Does having an original, numbers matching, classic or muscle car important to you? It’s all about the money, what you like and what you’re gonna do with it. I would never tell anyone not too, but you need to answer those questions first, which will help you narrow down your search. I’ve been to car shows all over the Southeast and Midwest with mine for the last 29 yrs and seen enough regret, disappointment and pure joy everywhere I’ve gone. If showing isn’t in your plans, your options are endless. Good Luck in your search and Welcome to the club!! Mike
  3. I used to throw them a lot but stopped for some reason. When I did I always used a Sluggo as a trailer. They just seemed like the right match up. I may have to pull them out again. Thanks for the reminder Mike
  4. I like the 2 flex spots, we should definitely keep that. As far as 2 qb’s, we could try a year and see how everyone feels about it. With a 10 team field there still will be more than enough left to make in season changes. Other than that I think we’re fine just the way it is. Thank-You again for taking the time to run this thing again. Well Done Mike
  5. So glad you or anyone else weren’t hurt. Sounds like you have support system in place which can make all the difference in your recovery. I wish you all the best going forward. Mije

  8. Forgot about the rattling ones! Just as easy to put one in the plastic if you think it’ll help Mike
  9. I would assume any big box store would have them. I used them years ago but found a peg, or 2 if needed was much easier and more versatile. Mike
  10. Thank You and Merry Christmas to you and your family. Mike

    Congratulations!! Beautiful fish!! Mike
  17. I don’t really let actual water temp dictate when to use what size of what to use. Fish have been caught in all kinds of weather using all kinds of shapes and sizes of baits. To have a preconceived notion of “This will only work for this” has gotten me in trouble too many times. If it’s the dead of winter I know to slow down and/or go for an reaction strike. If I know they’re in a certain location I’ll keep changing everything up,,,speed, size, shape, action then finally color until a pattern emerges. Mike
  18. OP As I said earlier. When I had my L4-L5 fushion in 2012 I had no other options. The very real possibility of needing another later in life unfortunately has come true for me. So 7 yrs later I’ll be having L-3 fused to the already fused L-4 in January some time. Again....If you have other alternatives, take em. Don’t have surgery unless you’re on the verge of causing other permanent problems that can’t be corrected. Is it scary? d**n right it is! Surgery is always the last resort but it can improve your standard of living if all other options have been tried. Best of luck in your decision. Just BE CERTAIN it’s the best one for you. Mike
  19. What I do up there is anything on the bottom I use Junebug also. When using anything moving I like red shad. Grab a bag of red shad Fat Max ribbon tail worms, a bag of junebug Rage Craws or Bugs, 4/0 hooks and a few 3/16 and 1/4 oz weights and you’re set. If you want to use Senko’s try a black and red weightless. Good Luck and Have Fun Mike
  20. Ahhhh That’s Great news!!! Mike
