  3. I don't know Chris... I own more Shimano's than any other. The K was an improvement over the I, which was an even bigger improvement over the G. To your point, the G was a definite down grade from the E, but to me they all are. Mike
  4. No jacket...Stay off the boat. Mike
  5. It's sad to know that The hundreds of men he saved will never know him. Truly a Great American Hero Mike
  6. It's fits like the I does, a little more streamlined than the E which makes it feel smaller. The worst thing about it is the "cap" over the worm gear. I use my index finger in front and can feel the level wind as it moves. Not a deal breaker but something that needs getting used too. You nailed it about how the E feels!! Mike
  7. I would take the lightly used E. I use a D, E, G, I and K every outing and the E is my overall favorite. It doesn't have all new technology or materials but that's alright with me. Mike
  8. Absolutely! To me the E is the best reel Shimano ever made. Mike
  9. I bought one of them and would do it again! Mike
  10. Thanks Fellas! Mike
  11. Agree, Rodman is a special place. It's not as popular as other well known Florida lakes, which is a shame, but you could've found many other lakes not too far away. Kissimmee and Harris Chain come to mind, Toho and my 2nd favorite Istokpoga. Mike
  12. Good for him!! Congratulations!! Mike

  15. Useing a nail weight inserted in different areas will solve your seen weight concern and give you the ability to alter its action, fall rate and angle. Mike
  16. I use 20# Shooter for all but the heaviest and thickest cover. Mike

  18. The thing about this line is difference between the strength to diameter rating as it goes higher 12# is .013 15# is .016 But the 20# is measured at .017 only .001 larger than the #15. It is what it is but seems odd Mike
  19. Like others have said.. For all plastics I tend to use mostly Junebug, black and blue and purple. When a change up is necessary, then it's anything with a combination of red in it. All white for bed fishing, Motor oil for 10"Jelly worms, White and chartreuse spinner baits, And only Junebug chatterbaits with blacked out blade. Mike
