  1. I love that lake!! I know exactly where you're talking about ?? If you haven't already, try where that canal widens out into the lake on both sides for about 50 yds. Some of the big girls hang out there before going in and stop before going out. Mike
  2. Imho You can fish all the way down to the Big O if you wanted too in March and April and not be disappointed. There will be beds into April down here especially with the cold we had as N Florida Mike said. There ramps and docks all over to launch anything you got. If you need specific locations just post. Mike
  3. Come a little farther south and you have to worry about any differences. Mike
  4. Sunline Sniper or Shooter depending on what I'm doing. Mike
  5. Regular, normal, standard, original Power Pro. And have no reason to change Mike
  6. I use 5/0 Trokar TK 130. A 4/0 will fit and work fine but for punching, which is the only time I'll use a Pit Boss, I want that extra room. Mike

44 and climbing! I really feel for you guys Mike
  8. IMHO Its's conditions, location, presentation, size then color. Glitter on plastic is like if a ribbon tail is thin or fat, elongated or short and stubby. Or if a creature bait has 4 or 8 appendages. Too much for my simple mind to add to the list of considerations to decide what to throw where, when and how. Do I have some? sure. Were they successful? Yeah I guess. But I can't remember if I thought the glitter made all the difference. Maybe it did but I know for sure I didn't use it only because it had it. Just another opinion Mike
  9. Call Delaware Valley Tackle who's a site sponsor. None better Mike
  10. I'm so sorry to hear this May God Bless him and your family. Mike
  11. I'd rather throw different types of plastic over any one specific type of hard bait. I'll cycle threw the whole bag if I have too. So in keeping with your question, I caught the most fish last year useing a Rage Cut R and a Fat Max ribbon tail. But tomorrow it could be something different. Mike

  18. Dam: The dates for each division's tournament are listed on their website. There is a priority date for each which will almost guarantee a spot as long as the total hasn't reached 200 entries, after which you will placed on a waiting list. There are 4 one day qualifying tournaments and 1 two day super tournament. I strongly recommend you get a guaranteed co angler or boater depending on what you are, but even then the 200 entries is the threshold. But I've seen the total increased at thier discretion. Entry fees are 125.00 per one day tournament for co anglers and 250.00 for boaters. For the 2 day super tournament it's 175.00 and 350.00. The payouts are always based on a 200 total entry. You earn points based on where you finish. The top 45 in points, and the winner of each if paid for all and fished at least 2 will advance to the regional. The top 6 of each regional qualify for the All American. The winning boater of that then qualifies for the Forest Wood Cup. To find your local divisions dates, off-limits, practice and competition rules click on the tournament link on the top banner then the TH Marine BFL link. From there you will find your division which is based on the state where you live. I hope this helps. Mike
