  1. Tip... If you Use one of your wife's nylons to apply it to the line while reeling it on, you'll use a lot less as it won't get absorbed into it as it would useing a towel. Mike
  2. I've said it before and I'll say it again...The Man knows Fla. waters more than anyone I've ever come across...What he wrote is really not exclusive to Kissimmee other than the obvious. Well done my friend. Thanks Daddy for re posting Mike
  3. Ditto This is what I've always tried to do when mating rods and reels Mike

  8. I put much more importance on the rod than the reel. I'd get a Loomis NRX and put a used Curado E on it. Mike
  9. Rest In Peace. Mike
  10. Bottom contact in moderate cover if it's sensitive enough in your hands. Mike
  11. As others have said, it's an ok line but there are better options for a mainline imho. Flouro is one of those products that shouldn't be bought only because of price or marketing hype. There are folks who Love the stuff and some who don't for a lot of reasons. Mike
  12. Power Pro...30# for heavy cover / 50# for frogs/ 65# or as high as 80# for punching Mike
  13. Welcome back! Mike
  14. Lets just agree it's 2 separate independent styles of presenting a bait to a specific spot. One from 10ft away and the other 20.. One the reel is engaged and the angler is useing the line to present the bait, and the other the angler is useing the rod. That's it Mike
  15. There's really nothing that combo can't do except punching through thick vegetation. However, if that rod has enough backbone it can be done with a little patience. Don't worry about it, tie on what you want and have at it. Mike

  18. As Catt said.,. Anything you want, it really doesn't matter. Id venture to say the vast majority of folks here have one and will use it for almost any presentation. If you like it use it, don't over think it. Mike

  20. Hello and Welcome! Mike
  21. Ain't it the truth!!
  22. Same rod but I use a Chronarch 100SF with it. ...Just can't put it down Mike
  23. Excellent tip! When I want a lot of "thump" I'll throw it..When I want a little more "wiggle" I'll use a Skinny Dipper. The Big EZ is an absolute killer down here with an underspin more so than any other swim bait I've used and the include's a Keitech. I use the Gambler Duz-It Mike
