  12. What he has rigged on each rod and try make a mental note on what is tied onto what. His selection of plastic types and colors. His selection of weights, mostly interested in the range weights he carries and what he has the most of. His selection of hook types. Waypoints Mike
  13. What helped me was to release earlier than I thought I should. Pick out a reference point on shore someplace and realese at that point. Dont even look at your target. It'll take a while but keep at it, you'll get it Mike
  14. My strength's are flipping, pitching and punching. I need to have more confidence in useing a spinning outfit and Be better at skipping under dock useing a baitcaster. Mike

For me it's... 1) Fish less tournament's and "fun" fish a lot more. 2) Go somewhere, anywhere and catch my first smallmouth. 3) Learn how to fly fish. 4) Only carry what I think I may need for a particular outing instead of bringing everything I own every time. 5) Fight the temptation to stick with a few proven baits and try to force feed the fish instead of trying other things a lot faster.   21. Ditto That area looks like it made for a trap..tick that submerged grass and let it fall free at the deep water line. Mike
  22. If you're gonna fish So. Bay out of slim's turn around and try to get as far back as you can in Pelican Bay. It's been getting better and better as the cold front wasn't that bad and it warmed up quicker than it will in a little while. Good Luck, and yes report back Mike
