  1. Sounds about right if they don’t stop taking sacks, interceptions, under throwing, over throwing, dropping passes etc etc. Phil needs to keep the hammer down, and not go to prevent. Mike
  2. 14 total yrds at 2:00 min!! KC isn’t even competitive Mike
  3. Bottom contact presentations. I’d say mostly punching mats and sight fishing beds Mike
  4. Just going round and round We’re done here Live Long and Prosper Mike
  5. You believe it because that’s what you do. There is no “should” Ditto Every time By the time my bait hits the water the rod is already in my left hand after casting right. After an initial pitch right and switch, all subsequent ones are done left. Mike
  6. Yes, please do! As I said above I had the same thing. I learned a lot, maybe I can help Mike
  7. @LrgmouthShad is right No, asking a question looking for a singular answer to make it easier to make your decision is next to impossible on a public forum. We all come at everything from our own experiences. It’s up to each to decide what’s best for them. You’ll just have to do what most have already done. Mike
  8. I would concentrate on the cypress knee’s. T rigging a mid sized craw with a lot of action starting up close to the base working my way out. Mike
  9. I hear ya… Nobody hates using a light weight, light line on a light spinning rod more than me! If that was the only way I could catch a fish I’d rather just stay home and pull weeds. But an 1/8 rigged on 20# flouro throwing a heavy salted stick bait is only used to help in running water, deeper holes or as a change up in brush piles. For that I’ve had some success with it, but you gotta pick your fights. Mike
  10. To me braid is a specialty line, not an all around, do everything all the time kinda line. Over the years it kinda morphed into just that. Anyway, in my mind being there are so many brands each having thier own process it’s hard to answer and steer you to only one. That said, if I were you I would only use an 8 carrier from a nationally known quality manufacturer such as Seaguar. Mike
  11. Rage Bug… Junebug, 4/0 Trokar TK130 hook, 1/4oz weight, 14# Sniper Mike
  12. Not changing anything Mike
  13. Hello and Welcome Mike
  14. A straight shank hook with a big enough space under the keeper like the one I use is key to getting a uniform knot Mike
  15. Joe How many turns and what hook are you using? I tie a snell up to and including 80# braid on a Trokar TK130 hook. I just lay it on the shank making a small loop. No idea what it’s called. For that and up to 20# Flouro I use 5 turns making sure the first turn is under the keeper. It always lays down nicely but with the last turn on top with the 80# when using a 4 carrier. Mike

When I use them I put a nail weight in its back. When rigging to use as a jerk bait, rig with the nose pointing down to get depth with each twitch or pull, rig it up to make it rise Mike
  17. Other than for a Carolina Rig I never use a lizard as a stand alone bait. When I do it’s always dark green with a chartreuse dipped tail. Mike
  18. Good Luck over there I’ll let you know about The Lake Mike
  19. Culprit Fat Max Ribbon Tail The best overall plastic I ever used for in and around submerged brush piles, stand alone lay down trees or brush. Mike
  20. Yep Thats about right. Depending on your reel the perceived lack of torque can be mitigated by your thumb at certain points of the retrieve Mike
  21. I don’t know what to say other than when you need to feel support, caring and hope, go back and read all the responses in this thread again and again. You are in all our thoughts and prayers Mike
  22. Very happy for your Dad! I hope he continues to improve with each day. I’m also sorry to hear of your family’s loss. May he Rest In Peace Mike
