  5. Question... My neighbor gave me a Shakespeare Sigma Titanium baitcasting rod he's never used. [it still has the plastic covering on the cork] Model STCA 761 ML...7' 6" Med Lt action, 8 -17 lb, 96% grafite. Even tho its a med lt and bends just short of 1/2 way down the rod, it still has a fairly stout butt secion which is thicker than my 7' Compre. With the line rating up to 17 lbs I'm thinking it would make a good Sq bill, med diving crank rod, but what do you guy's think? Mike
  6. 15# invisix floro for sq bill and med diving cranks's. 20# braid w/ 15# floro leader for ripping traps. Mike
  7. I just wish they had cent brakes instead of mag. I have to turn mine way up to 8 to control backlashes, but thats just me. I put 50# braid on mine and use it just for flipping jigs. Mike
  8. X2, Walk an all black frog on a overcast morning...You'll understand why pretty quick! Mike
  9. I like the scum frog more than any others, including the spro. The scum is a lot more softer which gives better hookups. Mike
  10. That would drive me nut's! How do find what you're looking for? Mike
  11. KVD line & lure Seagar floro Thats it Mike
  12. Well I have a PQ that I really like. But I like my Revo S even better. Mike
  13. Absolutely agree!! I started to ween myself off of useing spinning gear 100% of the time about 2 yrs ago. One of the many things I learned about choosing the right equipement was, I got bettter and better minimizing backlashes useing reels with either... Centrifical brakes...Revo S [Man, I love that reel] or Dual brakes...PQ, JM Sig. The one Mag only reel I bought was a bps Extreme that I don't even try to cast anymore. I use it only for flipping and pitchin. Mike
  14. Baby brush hog, with or without the tail or a Paca craw. MIke
  15. Yep! Mike
  16. Thanks DVT I guess I need to re think it a little. Recently I picked up a 7 ft mh/f Fenwick Techna AV rod that I really like for platics. I may have to try that for spinner baits. Thanks Mike
  17. Bass is alright to eat but to me it's nothing special. I like shark better. But in my opinion NOTHING tastes better than fresh Walleye! Mike
  18. I've never owned a micro guide rod but been thinking of one for spinner bait's useing 15# invisix What is the "Time and place for micro's?" Thanks Mike
  19. Keep Looking! Mike
  20. If you are useing hard body frog's like the spro try opening the hooks a little. Really helped me. Mike
  21. Exactly...except I have 15# and 20# floro on the others. Mike
  22. I'd take them back. If anyone there knows what they're looking at I'm sure you won't have a problem. Mike
  23. Thanks Glenn!! Mike
